They announce the deals, but make it a puzzle to find those items. Best deals are just working as a bait, bringing customers in but very low inventory. Maximum 20 items in inventory for sale. Very huge inventory for fake deals, the ones that are always the same price and you see them on every advertisement. I could find only half of the deals advertised. I guess you need to be there first day of deals 8am knocking on the door to get what you need :) The policy is for all Canadian Tire stores, but this store has even less inventory for best deals, gone by afternoon.

I went to purchase and replace my tires, and I was extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Firstly, after receiving an initial quote for the tire purchase, I was given a different price when I arrived at the store to leave my car. I was taken aback by this sudden change, as I had agreed to the original price.Nevertheless, I proceeded to make an agreement for a different set of tires and left my vehicle at the store. However, approximately one hour later, I received a call informing me that the tires in their stock were not in good condition. They stated that they couldn't assist me and failed to offer an alternative solution. When I suggested using a different tire from their stock, I was informed that they didn't have any tires of that size in stock. I believe they lied and did not make any effort to find a resolution. They were unhelpful and provided no assistance. This experience has greatly disappointed me and prompted me to write this review to express my dissatisfaction and request appropriate actions to be taken.I kindly request the following:Obtain the relevant tire: I expect you to promptly source and provide me with an alternative tire of equal quality that meets my requirements. This way, you can fulfill the service you initially promised.Fair pricing: In light of the change in the initial quote, I demand a fair and reasonable price for the service. As a customer, I expect honest and transparent pricing.Customer satisfaction should be a priority: As a reputable company like Canadian Tire, I expect you to prioritize customer satisfaction. Therefore, I request a sincere apology and a satisfactory solution to rectify the negative experience I encountered. With this letter, I hope that you will give due attention to addressing my concerns and taking the necessary steps to resolve the issue. If my requests are not met appropriately, I may be compelled to report this experience to relevant consumer protection agencies and other relevant institutions.I look forward to receiving a prompt response and a resolution-oriented approach.

I’ve frequented this Canadian tire for years. Staff have always been good and helpful. I think a new inventory control needs to be put in place though.I have had multiple times where I have gone to get something showing in stock at this location on the website, only to be told getting there they don’t have it. I understand if it’s 2 or 3 in stock it might not be there. That’s not what I am talking about. Was there today for an item the website said they 102 of in stock. Got there and was told they don’t have any. Annoying this seems to be a common occurrence

If you're shopping online & picking up your items, it's fine...Shopping in store is another story. I went in to purchase a carpet cleaner & used their item look up screen & that proved to be useless. I walked up & down aisles, clearly lost while walking by multiple staff. Finally, I found an end aisle display promoting a brand of cordless stick vacuums but the rest were nowhere near the display, so I asked an employee who told me what aisle number to locate the carpet cleaners. He did not come with me although he didn't seem busy. I stood there for what felt like 20 minutes, trying to figure out which devices were stick vacuums & which were carpet cleaners. The one I wanted from the flyer was not there. No one came to help me, it was very frustrating. Many of the huge boxes were facing outward on the French side, so I had to pull them down to read the descriptions & put them back. There was no clear distinction between carpet cleaners, vacuums & steam mops. Finally, I decided on BOTH a carpet cleaner & steam mop & had to haul both boxes simultaneously to the checkout, walking past empty-handed staff & was not offered help. After all this, I dragged the boxes out to the parking lot to my vehicle, still not offered help. I then had to return for the solution for the vacuum because1) checkout staff didn't think to tell me no solution came with the device & a particular type & brand is required2) I didn't have a 3rd arm to carry it...AGAIN it was not located in the predicted aisle, so I walked around lost, not offered help. I finally found the solution & stood there for another 10 mins reading labels, trying to ascertain which one was best suited for my particular needs & new machine...I finally selected one, more out of frustration than informed selection. Again, no help. I have shopped here 2× prior & the experience was the same...the staff has never once asked me if they could help & everything seems difficult to locate in this store. I only go back because it is close to my house.

What a wonderful professional experience I had at the automotive department 130th Canadian Tire. I took my 2014 dodge caravan for brake issues. I dealt with a lovely lady named Jessica who was attentive, knowledgeable and considerate. I also dealt with Dan who knows his stuff in and outAnd was upfront and honest!! They took my van and gave me an assessment and a quote for the work. I said go ahead. Dan called me the next day and explained they were down a tech and might not get it done until the following day. I said no problem. Low and behold 5 hrs later Dan called me and said they managed to get it completed anyways. Amazing!!! Thank you Jessica, Dan and the mechanics at Canadian Tire 130th!! We will be back for further mechanical work on our vehicles!! 5 stars.

The store is awesome. The selection is amazing the staff are incredible but if you are a younger white male watch out because the store security will follow you around like a hawk. I came to buy $1000 in tools and was harassed three or four times by the secret shopper thinking I was shoplifting very very uncomfortable situation and unfortunately is more and more common. I have found this at many of their locations.

I recently bought a very large outdoor chair and the staff were an amazing help. Despite it being a pretty busy day, they helped me retrieve, cart, and load it into my vehicle. When the box was too big to fit in my trunk they helped me unbox it and load the pieces.

This Canadian Tire has really been improving over the last year, I'd have ranked it a 2* before. Feels like better product selection, new checkouts, feels cleaner - I like when a place like this shows improvement and a level of care.

Customer service at this store is very poor. It is very hard to find help, and when someone finally is available to help it is often rare they know how to help you.For example, on two separate occasions my husband went in to buy a part for our truck. The first time he asked for help twice, and the people working in that department ignored him, so he left. Then he went in on a different day to try and purchase the part again and was ignored again. It is frustrating as we used to shop in this store all the time and now actively look for the products needed at different companies because we don’t want to deal with the poor/rude customer service.
