Arrived at 7:45 am (they open at 7:30 am), reached reception for walk-in check-in at 8:00 am and was politely informed the wait-time would be over an hour and I can wait either outside or on chairs in the lobby. The procedure itself took less than 10 minutes and I finished at 9:30 am. The staff doing my bloodwork was kind and explained everything clearly. She brought a smaller needle suitable for small veins. Make sure to wear something that’s easy to pull past the elbow as when it’s your turn you might get privacy dividers but not a private roomFYI online check-in is not working (but appointments are working if you can book far enough ahead). Someone else had an appointment later in the morning and they weren’t seen right away but within about 10-15 minutesThere is plentiful free parking. Staff weren’t rude at all, at least not in the morning - the phlebotomist was smiling and cheerful while the receptionists were straightforward.

Great experience . I booked in the morning today for 4:00, when I got there I was warmly welcomed and sat there only 2 minute and one of staff I think her name was Elizabeth did my blood work , I was out at 4:15. Their center was super clean , I used washroom and it was shiny . I am happy I drove from Kanata to this place . I will come here again.

Incompetent staff. Their website states that they do not offer the test I needed. Despite this their front desk specialist" is encouraging me to take the test. The result would have been a false negative."

most unprofessional testing centre! first appointments of the morning are made to wait more than 45 minutes while the lab workers loudly laugh and gossip in the back. at least have the courtesy to speak in a lower voice when you chit chat while the entire room is full of patients and not one have been served! I had 4 appointments with them and it was a horrible experience all 4 times. Opened the doors atleast 10 to 15 minutes late every single time. One of the ladies are extremely rude and behaved very inappropriately with me when I tried to do a walk in at 4pm. She screamed at me saying how dare I enter the property at 4 because they are closing soon (which is not even consistent with their google posted hours of operation ). Despite being extremely polite and requesting for help as I urgently needed the test that day she told me to wait while she speaks to someone. once she returned (after laughing and chatting for 20 mins more) she brought her colleague and explained to her how I just arrived and because its less than 30 mins from closing, they wont be able to help. I was so shocked how she lied about the whole timeline! then I was given a sticky note as appointment" for the next morning. Somebody should definitely look into as this is extremely unfair to people who plan their day around the appointment times given to them. if lifelabs is unable to accommodate appointments then they should simply say its only walk in instead of this ridiculous unprofessional system."

I've been a few times, and liked the place. The waiting room is small and the patients are moved through at an adequate pace. The staff is efficient and friendly enough for me. Those who had appointments seemed to be being taken on time.I would have given 5 stars except I've lost a lot of weight and my sit bones are too close the the very hard seats in the waiting room chairs, so I squirm while I wait. I'm bringing my own cushion next time I go!I can't understand all the bad reviews - they do not at all represent the Life Lab I know.

I went to get a blood test. Arrived at the centre at 4, was told there would be a 45 minute wait- no problem.Came back in 45 minutes in the dot and waited in line with 7 other people for 20 minutes as there was no receptionist working the front desk.During this time all the workers were loudly gossiping and essentially hanging out.Finally the receptionist came back and she told me that I could go straight to the back and sit down for my turn.I sit down and am waiting another 30 minutes while other clients come in and out. I pray part? A blood technician could not find a vein and took blood painfully from my forearm.DO NOT GO HERE. LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I've been going to this location for a long time and I don't know why I keep punishing myself by doing it. It's always packed, hardly any staff, and they have the hustle of a snail. Place was standing room only, and barely at that. Staff takes turns minding the front and doing bloodwork, so there's rarely anyone at the front to take your paperwork when you get there (husband stood there for almost 20 minutes before anyone came to the front). You can make an appointment online, but good luck actually getting seen anywhere near that time. Be kind to yourself and go somewhere else!

Clean, well-lit space. Free parking available. I made an appointment online, when I arrived I was seated immediately. Mask use is thankfully mandatory, and all staff wore masks. Friendly staff and the woman taking my blood samples was very skilled, better than most of my previous experiences for sure. A+

I cannot understand how this outlet has not been shutdown (under a corporate ethics disciplinary action etc). The way customers are treated is arguably abusive, and consistently so. If I was concerned about LifeLabs brand, I would clean house with these owners/staff and start over.Yesterday was my third visit to this outfit, hoping things might have changed in the two-year period since I had been there last. Sadly, even though I arrived 1.5 hours before closing, I found the door locked.
