We begun our lovely trip to Sun Peaks going up the elevator at the Grand Hotel. As we prepared ourselves for the wonderful trip awaiting us, we noticed an ad posted on the elevator wall promoting the Morrisey’s restaurant and their fine dining deal for Saturday dinners. My daughter and I decided that we were going to spend our last night at the resort going to this supposed stunning restaurant. With high hopes, we finally arrived at the restaurant on Saturday night at around 6:30 pm (February 5) and were greeted at the front door by a man named Ryan, though greeted is an overstatement. Immediately after saying hello, Ryan told us that the wait was 30-45 minutes. Thus, we asked if we should wait outside or if there was a wait list. Basically, we were wondering what the process was for us to eventually be seated and understood that this was a busy night. With an ego higher than Mt. Everest, he frantically informed us that “they don’t chase people down” and that we should simply forget about it. He informed us in ways beyond disrespectful that there was indeed no wait list and that we should come back in an hour and see if our luck serves us better then. My daughter and I’s magical night was ruined not because of our denial in immediate seating as that was understandable, but merely due to the sheer attitude and inhumane actions of Ryan. His words and tone made us feel like animals for no given reason. We did not come back in an hour and do not recommend others to go there at all, but of course choosing to experience this absurd behaviour is completely up to you.

Delish! Impressed with the sophisticated and hearty kids menu! My Vegetarian curry was delicious too! Def a good spot not only for views and location but good food. Pic is the view from the patio Sep 2020.

sure is warm over here" -juha "great sauce selection"-luke ; realistically these guys were out of everything. Pretty easy to get some seating over lunch. Also this place was open at noon not 3pm"

Excellent food choices on their menu. Taste is great too. I tried Pavlova for the first time here and absolutely fell in love. Definitely recommend this place if you are in Sunpeaks!

We started here for an Appies and Drinks Pub Crawl. Watermelon Smash was fresh and perfect with the Bangin Fries we had. Legit, this should be called UK Poutine. Chopped Banger Sausage, House Pickled Cabbage, Thick-cut Fries, Onion Gravy, Mustard Mayo, Scallion. VERY VERY TASTY.

Just went for drinks here. The staff were very friendly and they had great patio seats with fire pits (making it a great spot for social distancing).

Havnt eaten here this season yet....but Scotty is great and can't say enough good things about Laura on the bar. She absolutely kills it, what a gem! Great banter and works super hard!

Extremely rude staff, we sat and wait for 20 minutes before we had to go ask for someone to take our drink order and got attirude in return. Waited 30 more mins for our drinks which were watered down. Waited 30 minutes after that for a burnt chicken burger which took another 30 minutes to remake. Dont waste your time the food is terrible and so are the staff.
