During the last four to eight years I have reached out to her countless times for various issues: construction, snow removal, road safety, bike safety, noise, safety, etc. Every time I have reached out to her, the answers I get is “this is out of my jurisdiction” and do not attempt provide explanations or assistance in any manner. I don’t understand what her role is suppose to be in our community. Anytime I have an issue that is related to municipal I receive answers from her that do not address my concerns. Other family members and neighbours have written emails or phoned to have also received similar results. I don’t understand why she is running again, when she does not provide leadership to the community.

Reached out to Paula about some issues I am having in the area and it was disappointing that someone I voted for didn’t have the time to get back to me—also Dan in her office is kinda wild hanging up on people when our tax money pays his salary. When it came to the issue they oddly weren’t very aware of where anything in the neighbourhood was but were very happy to not deal with anything out of their jurisdiction. This is disappointing but not surprising when the team seems to be made of people who never grew up on the city but want to get clout and power while not really doing things to help; It’s giving lite colonization.

I used to think that Paula Fletcher and her staff were able to effectively advocate for residents but, unfortunately, there seemed to be only one person, who has since stopped working for Councillor Fletcher, who was decent enough to respond to concerns in a timely and sensible manner, and who actually took action regarding issues that residents were dealing with. I question why Toronto City Councillors require so many members of staff, who are not able to communicate effectively and who seem to be only posturing and pretending to assist residents. It is not appropriate to have staff who frustrate and waste the time and money of Toronto taxpayers! How do Toronto residents hold their local Councillor and staff accountable, when they seem to be so ineffective??? I will not be voting for Paula Fletcher, again.

Paula is amazing. She helps the community allot. She is dedicated to the process of helping to build for the long term. Being a board member of a drop in centre which needed to be shut, I personally saw her dedication to get things done. It was a long process. Everything takes time and she was persistent and stayed through the entire duration till completion. She has been such big inspiration for me to help others in our community.
