Calgary First Aid

I had the pleasure of taking the Health Care Provider CPR course with instructors Bren and Max. Bren taught the class on the first day and Max taught on the second. Both instructors were wonderful and presented the material clearly and interestingly.Bren was super fun to learn from. He managed to incorporate the perfect amount of humor and seriousness in what would normally be a very dry and information-heavy course. I also really enjoyed hearing about the experiences from his own life and how what we were learning would be used in a real situation.Max was also a great instructor. He was a little more laid-back than Bren but also knew when to be humorous and serious when it came to different topics. I really enjoyed hearing about his experiences in the field as an EMT and again, applying what we were learning in the classroom into a real situation.I would love to have these instructors again when I get my recertification in 3 years time. Thanks again for everything guys!

Imran Khan was great and interactive. Definitely will retake with him!!

When I heard I had to go take my first aid, I wasn’t too excited. It turns out it wasn’t too bad after all. Our teacher Bren made the course a lot more interesting with his stories and good sense of humour. The course went by very fast for that reason.

I don't think I had ever taken a a First Aid/CPR course that was so interesting.Bren, the facilitator went far and beyond the text books with real life situations that allowed me to connect with real possibilities out there to provide a more effective care.This course includes revised and updated information and added a big plus with mental health awareness and Care situations.

As far as First Aid courses go, this is the best one I've been to. The instructors are friendly and they make the subject matter as unpretentious as possible.Great work Max! I'll be back in 3 years when it's time to renew.

I took a first aid class with Imran! And he was great and very entertaining. He provided a lot of detailed and useful information.

Bren was a great instructor with a good sense of humour. He managed to give us the information needed over the 2 days for us to ace the test, while still managing to make us laugh (not an easy feat). We loved his anecdotes and treasure trove of info. from being on the job so many years.Additionally, we ended early on both days. He was also quite understanding with Access Calgary for my friend and managed to get them to wait for my friend both days.The location is in an industrial area but there’s the farmer’s market nearby within walking distance. I also went to the nearby Costco one day after class.

I took 2 days course and my instructor was Claudia. She was very nice and made it very easy and clear to understand. I was the first time taking these kind of course and I did not had any problem understanding or memorizing information. However, doing test for the certification, was VERY tricky as grammar and sentence wise. I had to read several times to understand questions. If this company wants people to really know and memorize the CORRECT information, steps of first aider and know how to help, change your test questions. Other than that, very good learning centre and instructor!!!

Bren was such an awesome instructor! He made the course more engaging and interesting than any prior First Aid courses I've taken before . I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

The instructor mr Khan was very knowledgeable and explained the course well. It was easier to follow with many examples of the situations. I highly recommend his class!
