I'm so glad we went through Island Travel Company to arrange our honeymoon! Angel is so friendly, and she is absolutely wonderful to work with. I only had a general idea of what I wanted for our Hawaiian vacation, but from our first 30-minute phone consultation, Angel was able to get things going and got back very quickly on different options. She asked all the right questions, and she was able to arrange a trip that would leave opportunities for both relaxing and more rigorous outdoor activities. She had great suggestions, and she knew exactly which hotels to recommend based on our interests. Everything went smoothly, and we had a fantastic honeymoon! I highly recommend!

When it came time to plan a trip to Punta Cana, my husband and I knew this was the place to come to for help! We know nothing about the area and haven’t stayed in a resort in years. I had a list of particular things that were important to me in choosing where to stay. I gave Angel my list and she came back to me quickly with a list of properties. We took a look at everything and one really caught our attention-Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. It’s an all inclusive family resort, on a calm and beautiful beach, with high ratings. She told me it checked off every box we had. After a 7 night stay, I can confirm this 100%. This resort was everything we wanted and more. We aren’t the type of people to stay in one place for 7 days but we found everything at this resort so incredible that we never left it. Our 6 year old had the time of his life there, and so did we! The resort was stunning, clean and inviting at every turn. The staff was hospitable, kind, and attentive. The food was plentiful and delicious. The beach was calm enough for us to feel comfortable with a younger child who is still learning how to swim well. The resort also has activities geared towards kids and a Kids Club where the adults could have an evening or two for a date. Angel knew exactly which resort was the one for us! Angel also arranged our transportation from the airport to the resort and back to the airport. The transport was clean, air conditioned well and efficient. They came ready with drinks and snacks - we couldn’t get enough of the plantain chips! The airport transport area was hectic and I was very glad to have already arranged our transport - the driver also found us which was very welcomed after a long travel day. My husband and I love travel and love trying new places. We typically do not return to a destination because there’s so much of the world to see - however we both already are talking about when we should return to Punta Cana to stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana again! This vacation was everything we desired it to be! Thank you Angel and Island Travel!

I would NOT recommend Island Travel Company and working with Angel. My family and I recently returned from a trip to Punta Cana that we booked through this company, and I can honestly say we would've been better off booking on our own (having successfully used Vacation Express multiple times prior). Our biggest issue was Angel NOT offering us travel insurance for this trip, which in COVID times, is critical. Sure, maybe this was something we should have asked about, but we're working with a travel agent...this should be her job to make sure her clients are very clear about an insurance option! And the reason this was an issue was our son became very sick prior to leaving, which forced us to have to make the hard decision to take the trip without him, or lose $3500 in airfare. With travel insurance, this would have been a non issue and we could have easily rescheduled. When pushed about the insurance, Angel claimed the forms were attached to an email" even though we had every email communication sent and it wasn't attached. When pushed further about this

Angel provided us with three good options for us to consider for our family spring break getaway. We were so glad we chose Paradisus Palmas. Angel not only helped us make that choice and to secure accommodations to serve each family's needs, she also guided us through the whole process for obtaining all necessary travel documents, travel insurance, ground transportation, activities to consider, tipping hotel staff, etc. Great family fun. We would do it again!

I worked with Angel planning a trip to Costa Rica. She was so helpful in providing suggestions to fulfill the interests of us. We had an incredible time.

Angel was absolutely incredible to work with. She went above and beyond to assist us from start to finish, and the communication was excellent. We actually flew out on Jan 11 — the day the FAA temporarily grounded all flights — and she was in constant contact with us throughout that stressful morning. We had an amazing trip and a tremendous experience working with her. Highly recommended.

Angel was great to work with. She was able to help us book a great family trip to the Dominican Republic for 26 people on relatively short notice. The resort was excellent and her communication was prompt. Would certainly use her services again for future trips.

Angel was a phenomenal travel agent for our honeymoon. She gave us tremendous descriptions to multiple hotels in multiple locations after learning what type of vacation we were looking for. I've since recommended her to several people and they have been extremely pleased with what she came up with for them as well. We will definitely be using her again for our next long getaway. We can’t say enough about how pleased we were working with Angel! She provides such a personalized experience and went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us! We even got to meet Angel in person which was such a great surprise! We can’t wait to work with her again for upcoming travel!!

Angel was a joy to work with. She made sure everything for our honeymoon was setup and that we knew what to expect upon arriving. She went above and beyond for us in finding a secondary resort after our initial was closed due to storm damage. Can't wait to use her again in planning our next trip.
