Blowdry Lounge
It felt odd to change the place to get my hair done too often, going from one person to the next, but it really can be difficult to find the right person and it's worth it to take the time to find a hairdresser I really like. The price at this place is a little bit beyond my bar, but it is worth every penny. Beni C is a professional I was looking for, a combination of someone who inspires trust, makes me feel comfortable (even if I do not feel like chatting) and on top of that also gives me a haircut I love.

Expensive comparatively and they do not tell you upfront what price will be ( price list indicates 40-50 dollars, depending on length and texture of hair, so assumed 40 given the simplicity). My shoulder length straight hair was 50 + tax - total came to 56.50... so I’m guessing they just charge everyone high end of range. Appointment took half an hour. Although I was happy with the blow dry, I would not recommend this place. There are more reasonable places in the neighbourhood.

Absolutely amazing salon and Beni gave me the bounciest 90s blowout of my dreams! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and I will absolutely be coming back when I need my hair done!

Since I grew out my hair, the only person i would let style my hair is Head Stylist Beni. Beni is the absolute best choice for a hairstylist in the city for all people. Blowdry Lounge itself is inviting, always playing good music and the atmosphere between the staff seems like a fun and joyful dynamic. I truly enjoy each visit and always look forward to the next one. Highly recommend!
