Dr. Riley B. Hall, M.D. Eye Physician & Surgeon

Dr.Hall is good in his profession but the receptionist are very rude and this is gives bad impression to this Eye Physician & Surgeon clinic.

I visited Dr. Riley Hall on January 15, 2020. It was a very snowy day so many patients had called and cancelled. My appointment was scheduled for 11am but since I arrived early at about 10:20am I was taken in almost immediately and Dr. Hall went over the procedure, he dilated my eyes and I was asked to wait approximately 20 minutes for the drops to take effect. Dr. Hall came and got me from the waiting area and took me to the office where he was doing the laser procedure to remove scar tissue from my eyes. He explained things very well before, during and after the procedure and I was out of the office on my way home by 11:15. Both the receptionist who was very busy on the phone with cancellations and other patient calls advised me she would be with me shortly and Dr. Riley were exceptionally pleasant and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to have seen on an emergency and would highly recommend him and his staff. Rude service by Dr. Hall and staff. When at the front desk instead of asking Can I help you?" one of the receptionists said "What do you want?" to my elderly relative. Then when asking if we could book another appointment they said for us to call them even tho we were standing right there in front of them wanting to book at that point . Very unwelcoming office."

It was a substitute doctor who obviously didn’t care much, didn’t answer to any of my questions and even judged my English understanding skills. Very rude and unprofessional.I will never come back to this office.

This dr was very knowledgeable and efficient! Great to have such specialists so close to home! Thank you, dr Hall!

This is a redo of my review. There was a bit of a rough start with re-booking an appt.at first. You never know what actually goes on and how hard someone is actually working. A phone call not answered , clients could be being helped, and other work throughout the office. I had a very good appt. and the front staff were exceptionally sweet, and I know they care. Thank you So much for everything. Means a lot.

Kind, caring and courteous staff. Lovely clean office and exam rooms.Dr.Hall was professional yet empathic. And I was surprised when he actually knew what my genetic condition was.I would highly recommend him. My father sees him, and now I'm going to get my mom in. It is so nice to have this standard of expertise in Port Coquitlam.

My doctor has tried 3 attempts to get me an appointment with Dr Hall for 3½ months but have hear nothing. I tried calling the office to see what's happening and receptionist said she will look and phone me right back and have not heard back and that was 1 month and a half ago.I know a couple other people who has received appointments very quickly but I have been left hanging.

Rating 3 stars because we had to wait 1 1/4 HOURS past our scheduled appt before we were even seen, for our INFANTS appt. In the meantime we had to change our infants diaper of which there was no change table in the bathroom or any appropriate spot to do so. I mean... Is it not the 21st century?The only reason I am giving it 3 and not much lower is because Dr. Hall was amazing with our son and even though they were VERY BEHIND, he still took good care of him and still made sure to answer any questions we may have had instead of rushing us out the door.

I don’t understand that what is the point of making appointment if we have to wait for so long . I had appointment for 10:45 but we went inside at 11:45 . Like seriously .There is no importance of time for them.
