Rented a material lift Friday October 22/21. The warehouse attendant took one look at my van and said “it’s not going to happen” and proceeded back inside the warehouse, leaving me outside speechless. I follow him inside to explain all the seats collapse and I had rented similar lifts before. He then went back outside with me to remove and fold down a feature, to make the unit more compact. Again he refused to help me even lift one end up into my van. I had to call a nearby relative ( 6 KMS away) to assist with it. Suffice to say I was extremely disappointed with the complete disregard for customer service. I didn’t expect to be treated like this. I wasn’t expecting the attendant to do anything extraordinary.

Scott at Guelph United Rentals was informative and quick. He arranged the rental in minutes and was very friendly and courteous.

Terrible service!! They have been invoicing me for an invoice that has been paid back in December 2021 and I have called the speedvale location 4 times since then but they won’t do anything about it and they keep mailing me the invoice.

My experience with United Rentals Guelph was mixed. The staff are professional and the customer service was excellent. The equipment was (almost) in excellent condition.The issue was that the equipment I was renting (in this case a 2-yr old stump grinder), wouldn't start after about 20 min of use. After some standard checks I noticed that it wasn't just low on oil - it was devoid of oil. I filled it, but the thing wouldn't start after that. A 10 second maintenance check would have caught the problem, but obviously that didn't happen (now I know to check before I leave the yard).The return was straight forward and they offered a full refund with very few questions. Based on the customer service alone this would be a 5 star review, but the lapse in quality control is tough to ignore.All those arrangements for 20 minutes of stump grinding.

Adam and the staff are just top notch people! Very helpful and accommodating, would recommend to anyone, we have used this store several times over the years and never had any issues!

Been dealing with them now for 2 years have had excellent service every time and (knock on wood) they have never not been able to come through for me with any type of lift I have requested great job !
