OC Transpo

This driver help me to get in her bus and help me find my way in this bad weather. Not only me, but also others got help from her. She provided convenience to passengers as much as she can! She made my day!

It use to take me 40 mins door to door by bus. Now it takes me 1h20 mins door to door, that's double the time. You should replace your route planners. You guys are a joke of a service

I don't know what to say. The last thing this service needed was train problems and the impact of the convoy. Beyond this, a cavalier attitude already existed about adherence to schedules or buses just not coming. A Rider should not have to worry about if a bus will show up or a scheduled connection is possible. I give leeway that stuff happens but this transit system has forget the small things count and the grassroots of public transportation. Throwing free service at things doesn't address the problems. Overall I see a 50/50 split between Drivers that are friendly and open to transit questions and others with a laissez faire I'm just here to drive the bus attitude.

Worst transportation services ever. I take 2 routes on daily basis for my work and buses are never on time.Scheduled bus will never come and suddenly after 20-25 mins, two buses shows up together and one of which is so full there is no place to stand.

Praying that public transit in the city will drastically improve soon. Bus rides are very rough - always feel sick like on a roller coaster. Have to hang on for dear life. Light rail system is just awful. Please please please please bring back buses (at least express buses during peak hours) into the downtown core. The train stations are so badly designed, dirty, gross, and a refuge for dangerous types. How much $ did (and continue) taxpayers shell out for this mess? Must be running into the hundred of millions or maybe even a billion. Folks, silence is consent. Speak to your municipal elected reps, please I implore you.

If you make a complaint they do not follow up. In fact I made three complaints in the past 2 months and no follow-up?One of them was with a supervisor vehicle who was behind me honking and being a very aggressive driver.

This is the biggest farce in Ottawa. Busses can’t run on schedule and the train has a shutdown almost monthly. Never heard of Montreal or Toronto having issues with their subway and trolley cars. A top-down overhaul is needed. Someone should be held accountable for purchasing a rail system that can’t run when the weather turns sour. Yes, the Capital of Canada receives snow for almost a third of the year. We should have a rail system that can handle those elements. Not sure what their explanation is for the other issues that have halted service during the other eight months.Change is needed now!

It is absolutely disheartening to see so many negative reviews, but I’m sorry to say I’ve had a rather similar disappointing experience time and time again. If anyone from OC Transpo is reading these, please hear me out:I understand that most of the funding/money is going into the construction of the LRT at the moment, however it is clear that other aspects of the OC Transpo are lacking. There are multiple things that need to be addressed.The main thing I’ve noticed is late buses and bus cancellations. This is often inconvenient for many, especially if you need to be somewhere or are in a rush (meaning you don’t have time to take the buses as they come). (This is even worse in the winter, which is more important because of the cold/dangerous weather).This service is used by the citizens of Ottawa, some who rely solely on the bus (may not be able to afford a car…) or want to take the bus for the sake of carpooling & the environment and the worse part is there is no other option or competitive bus company to switch over to! From what I hear, many people have to resort to very expensive Uber or taxis, especially later in the evening when there are little to no buses.Please limit late buses and if bus cancellations are necessary (I can somewhat understand a lack of staff or bus drivers that day), but please give riders more notice than a few minutes if a bus is not coming so riders can make other plans or arrangements.Also, please increase the amount of buses that have live trackers, improve the app and it’s accuracy and add more green buses!Next, please hire more drivers. As it is clear there is a shortage of drivers, but please make sure to hire good, safe and kind drivers who take care of their passengers. I’ve seen so many comments expressing times where other passengers have felt unsafe with a driver and/or were yelled at unnecessarily by drivers. As for such cases, please review your drivers behaviour as it seems customer service receptionists or other don’t seem to have any real intention of looking into such things. Please make sure passengers are taken care of and thus less likely to stop using the service.Please Oc Transpo, Ottawa is already considered a boring city, let’s not add the title of “worst bus/transportation system to the list”. So please show Ottawa that the bus system can improve and that the OC Transpo cares about Ottawa!Hope this feedback helps. Good luck.

No point in going on to their web complaint form.I do understand that everything can't be on pin point when it comes to service,I would like the officials that atleast the bus operators be kind and professional when they are on the job.I work at the airport and bus drivers are 90% respectful but today morning the driver of 97 just closed the door when I am about to board I don't understand what was behind his brains.when I questioned he said he waited 40 seconds, well there was a mother with a stroller getting down.i waited for them to get down .he just took off the busArguing and closed the door right infront my eyes.With out passengers who are paying their fare I am not sure how Oc transpo would benefit the community + drivers with such a attitude ruins this corporation.I am paying for my ride and I would like them to be little considerate and polite( 97airport).location south keys around 12.15 June 1
