Tried to drop off a package for UPS shipping. Was told they don't accept packages over 40 pounds and to schedule a pick up. I called the UPS customer service line and they said that the UPS store is supposed to take the package.The representative was not very friendly when denying me service. They could have at least expressed some concern and tried to help me with a solution. E.g. maybe offer to provide a phone number at the very least?

This location has an extremely impersonal and rude representative. Took an Amazon return, and without even scanning, stated wrong label, I would have to go into the U.S. to drop at a location there. I proceeded to get another label, and again, without scanning, stated the same thing, have to go to the U.S.I ended up in Surrey for some reason, decided to try the UPS store there, using the same label as last time. He immediately scanned it, accepted the package, and stated it would go out following Tuesday. Took less than 2 minutes.The Maple Ridge location should be looked at by corporate, or just close it. It is useless. Do not go there, use any other location!

Absolutely horrible service! Not professional! Had to ship a business package for the first time with UPS and needed clarification on the requirements of sending and packaging. The representative was not forthcoming with assistance. I required tape to package my box, he gave me about an inch for mediums sized box, that would surely not hold the contents together. After I told him I’ll pay to tape it up properly he agreed to do it. Charged me a dollar for it.

This guy has changed (reduced) the hours his store is open; hours of service are supposed to be mandatory and unfurnished throughout all stores so that people like myself are able to depend on them for business services. Additionally, he happens to be extremely rude. Go figure! Poor guy should choose a new career path maybe, he seems miserable.

Worst ups location I have ever been to. They won’t provide receipts for drop off because he explained he’s too cheap to pay for the paper! Can’t believe it!!! Not very professional and they should not be representing ups.

I've never had an issue. I've either paid to have my package sent by UPS or just dropped it off and left. The guy is always nice.

No one was there they literally put up a sign that said back in 15 running an errand waited 25 and gave up it was 3:30pm there were several other people waiting as well. Don’t know when I will get my package but if you can avoid this centre do

Gave this place one more chance and I am SHOCKED that UPS allows someone to own a store when they are SO RUDE and mocks you, if you are upset. He seems to enjoy it. The lady in front of me left because of the service. I agree with another reviewer here that I also did not want to give one star. I have never experienced such a lack of customer service from a store owner before. I had four contact points with him, over three days, and each one he was flippant and argumentative. I don’t want to spend anymore negative energy explaining my dissatisfaction. It is evident by other reviewers here that if Joe wants to continue to own the store that he should check his reviews and think about the customer service he is providing. If he’s just that miserable at his job, maybe he can find something that’s more fitting. I was able to call UPS and file a complaint. I suggest others who have a similar experience to do the same, as the UPS agent said that there will be follow-up call from HR, since they said it is important because he represents the UPS name and should be giving friendly service at the least. That would be greatly appreciated Joe.

Would give less if I could. Consistently locks their doors during business hours to run errands" . Rede to customers and rough handling of packages. I would rather drive to a pickup location in another city than return to this ups office."
