Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board

I go to one of their elementary schools and it's terrible

The nurturing and supportive academic environment that the Simcoe-Muskoka Catholic Schools provided for me in my formative years remains one of my most cherished assets.Please know that the inspirational work you have dedicated your lives to is remembered fondly by so many people. Your vocational devotion to education is truly admirable :D

As a parent with two daughters that have come through the entire K-12 experience at this school board, I can truly say that this an excellent educational organization. SMCDSB has offered my daughters a diverse array of high-quality educational opportunities. The schools are well resourced and the quality of the teaching/support staff is superb.

I have never in my entire life had to deal with a school board as disorganized, incompetent, and racist! For five years now I’ve had to deal with these people who do nothing but dance around questions and lied straight to your face. I have had my kids as well as my husband and myself in the Catholic board for over 30 years because of the school board, We are changing to the public school boards immediately! Absolutely a disgrace to the Catholic religion. If I could give it a zero star I would give it a zero star so please save your children as well as yourselves the mental anguish you most certainly will be going to receive by going to the schools absolutely pathetic!!!!!

All of my children have went to a Catholic school in the Muskoka Lakes area I have never had anything good to say about this school boardNothing but issues with my own children as well as other in the community that I have observedDefinitely think they need some retrainingAnd most important someone should over see the schools and the board they should be held accountable for there actions and the way they reach

Great schools, outstanding staff.

Whoever is in charge to making decisions to close schools needs to get a new job. With yesterday being the perfect example, with schools being open and these horrible conditions, you put the staff and kids life at risk. The other day buses were canceled for way less then that. No common sense.

It makes no sense to me how we can get freezing rain, special weather statements, 90km/h winds and snow squall warnings for TWO DAYS and you cancel the buses on a day that was completely fine.
