Had a pair of Brogues ( military shoes ) fitted with a set of heel and toe caps.The end result was quality workmanship, the heels had to be resoled in the process.The gentleman who did the work ( owner ? ) was very professional and friendly throughout the work order.I would recommend this shop anytime, and will return when I require repairs again.Also, reasonable price.

Grumpy and rude and wouldn’t take a couple of pairs of shoes that I thought would be an easy fix. Will try elsewhere. Don’t think he likes his job

Great show repair, excellent workmanship and clean. I have read the reviews that he is rude etc, but I have to disagree. In fact he is pleasant, kind, honest and knowledgeable about how and what to do best with your individual shoe repair. Trust me I have taken my shoes DT for repair and those guys are darn rude!!Marcell shoe repair is honest and does great work!

Nice workmanship but he is not so talkative. I have seen the other reviews seeing his lack of responsiveness as rude and offensive at times but it seemed to me something stemming from personal/cultural difference. He seems to be ready to respond to inquiries that he finds relevant to the job at hand but does not enjoy small talk much.

Agree this guy is a grouch and probably should have retired already. But his work is good and that’s all I really care about.
