I cannot put enough emphasis on always bring someone with you to the appointment room, it’s important for your safety in many ways if you choose here. Alternative, Save your time and look for someone who isn’t going to say toxic things because is not educated on the medical condition and instead scares patient into staying on a the wrong course that gives poor life quality. Also tells blatant misinformation about your health that contradicts neurosurgeon’s findings. Shameful.

Dr. Briscoe has no respect for patients, she doesn’t listen to any concerns, she refused to hear anything I was saying in regards of a better medical treatment for me. She’s rude ignorant and clearly not knowledgeable at all which is why she would rather keep me on a treatment that has proven ineffective. If she knew her job then she would of offered help instead of telling me in a graphic grotesque manner how I’ll die with my brains and scull all over the floor and suffer being a vegetable because she doesn’t think I’m worthy of a treatment that works. She’s awful. She was litterly making things up about my health that aren’t even there because I have records showing otherwise. She’s scary and a bully. Her receptionist is completely dreadful and rude. I’ve found a better neurologist some place else. I’m glad I’m getting the dignity I deserve. Stay away.

Terrible doctor, she treated my daughter like she was nothing. Very unprofessional with no kindness for patient. I don’t recommend her.

I cannot say enough positive comments about Dr. Briscoe. She is an excellent neurologist who is very knowledgeable and skilled in neurology. Most importantly, she is a great physician with a really nice, kind, patient and friendly bedside manner.

While I have heard and read nothing but amazing reviews about Dr Briscoe, getting past what could be the grumpiest receptionist ever is the challenge. In a time of worry and uncertainty when it comes to ones health, being treated like you are a bother is less than comforting. You are a receptionist for a Dr who has made it her lifes mission to help people in need, have the common courtesy to act like you have the same values, if not, retire.

I have been suffering for years with pain, dr. Briscoe came in to do tests. She didn't ask me any questions, brushed off any questions i had and left the room within 10 mins of seeing me.I have now been to a specialist in the United states and they asked so many questions and were curious why canada neurologist didn't ask the same questions or request different testing.....I have interacted w other Dr's in canada since and they all have the same attitude. They. Don't. Care.

Amazing lady, no stress seeing this dr. She looks at you and really listens. No pressure trying to explain details, which is very difficult for me to do.

A few weeks ago I had follow up appointment with Dr. Briscoe to discus my test results. I thought it would be a 5-10 min appointment I was wrong. The session was the most thorough exam and discussion I have ever had with a specialist. It lasted for an hour. She listened, answered my questions and has ordered more tests. I could not ask for a better Doctor.

Dr. Briscoe really listens and really cares. She has been very helpful in not only diagnosing, but addressing my chronic headaches (5+ years of pain). Looking forward to seeing her again at my follow-up appointment.
