So we decided to venture out of the city for an evening in Seaforth & decided we’d try here based on reviews from family members, as they’ve talked quite highly of it.Unfortunately it was everything but a positive experience. When we ordered our meal, for two people there was only 1 other person in the store so we’d figured no big deal should be on the beach having some supper in no time. Almost 40 minutes later we’d gotten our 2 burgers and a side. By then I’d had already written the entire experience off. Over a half an hour for two burgers and a side is really a bit much considering the only other customers were getting ice cream. We tried to stay positive and hoped the food would win us back. Again, unfortunately for us not a chance. My burger was as if maybe someone forgot it on the grill for 15 minutes as one side was completely black and hard like a crouton. We’d had sweet potato fries on the side, which came with no dip or anything of the sorts and were a few seconds away from being blackened themselves.The prices might be cheap, and portions may be a bit bigger than other spots, but it was far from good.All in all, I’d never return and it really kind of ruined our night. :(

This place is a bit of a drive from Dartmouth, but if you are looking for good fish and chips, at a reasonable price, this is well worth it. The fries are thinner than I like but they were done well and I enjoyed them. The fish were large pieces, lightly battered and cooked to perfection. They have other menu items which I would not hesitate to try based on my experience there.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat Sunday early afternoon. We got a sandwich. It was acceptableBut, what was not acceptable was the HORRIBLE way that the boss" or "manager" or whatever she calls herself was treating her young coworker. She was using very harsh tons and seems to be doing everything she could to humiliate the poor guy. I was so upset by the treatment the young man that I had to leave the restaurant.Untill the treatment of of that young man is improved. I will take my business elsewhere."

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are amazing. Try the fish and chips on Friday and Saturday. The best ever!! 2 piece fish and chips with homemade tartar and coleslaw for $9.99....unreal!!

Fish and chips with homemade tartar was amazing. Poutine is huge. My daughter could only eat half of it! Baby sized ice cream was also very large and inexpensive. Worth the stop.

First time here with my girlfriend and we had to wait half an hour for grilled cheese. Yes. I would like to note there was only one order ahead of us. Nonetheless in my opinion grilled cheese should not take that long.Then there is the manager I suppose she is. In one word, rude. As stated we have never been here before and were just kind of wandering while we waited for or grilled cheese she snapped at us that we had to wait at a table OR go sit in our car. There was no signage to indicate nor were we told after we ordered.She was also exceptionally rude to the young lady working today.Also if you order ice cream order a small the portions are actually way too much.Skip.
