Chorizo Fresh Mex | Home | We learned how to make Mexican food from the source. We spent weeks learning the trade in Mexico at local tacquierias, and realized that it was the fresh ingredients and passion for preparation that separated authentic Mexican tacos and burritos from their north-of-the-border counter parts. We made it our mission to bring to our customers only the freshest food, prepared each and every morning. Four different flavours of mouth-watering salsas, straight-from-the-avocado guacamole, crisp vegetables, and quality meats all combine to create an exemplary food experience.

Do not eat here. This location is not very clean, which leads me to believe that all practices are not what they should be in regard to food prep. After making staff aware of uncooked chicken, no apology of any sort was offered, only I will give you your money back. Just doesn't feel like anybody cares and are just going through the motions.

I ordered Burritos and tacos from here on recommendation of my friend and I must say the food was tasty and quantity was good enough for two people. Great experience.

Chorizo Fresh Mex
Wanted to give this location a try having tried other Chorizo locations before. Unfortunately I was disappointed with my recent visit.I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito Bowl and when I received the bowl I noticed that the carne asada was burnt. I returned the bowl back to the employees and one employee proceeded to take the carne asada out of the bowl and attempt to cut off the burnt pieces. I had to tell him to cook me a new piece of meat. I don’t know why that wasn’t his first instinct in the first place.... maybe the place is trying to save money?As for the rest of the bowl... its nothing to go raving about. Completely lacklustre and over price for the amount that you get. For $12-$13 I’d get a significantly bigger portion at a competitor.I’d like to say that you should visit this Chorizo location but my experience says otherwise. Tons of other food options in the same plaza and in the area. I’d go to those first before going back to chorizo again.

Gurleen Is just WONDERFUL! I’ve been to this location a few times and she is always super sweet, kind and goes above and beyond. I have a gluten allergy and she always makes sure things are clean and perfectly good for allergies. Thank you for having such a great staff, really appreciate all the hard work to keep chorizo as the best mex restaurant around :)

Great experience with ChorizoEverything here is made from scratch at the store. Amazing choices of salsas, very fresh.The best takeaway from my visit to this place was the choice of meat and taste. All the meat is not pre-cooked but made on the grill as we order.

I went here for lunch yesterday and attempted to order a chicken bowl but the cashier couldn't speak English well and she couldn't understand what I wanted and gave me a chicken plus veggie bowl. For one bowl it came to $17, which is fine because I know burritos are not cheap to make - but she did charge me extra for the vegetables but I didn't order. I was disappointed with the food. It was a tiny amount of chicken and the vegetables that I paid extra for, I got only about a teaspoon of onion and green pepper. The overall taste was mediocre. I normally go to burrito Masters or Chipotle and they are both far superior in taste and quality. I was mostly just disappointed at the cost versus quality.

Really enjoyed our lunch here! The fellow who took our order was very personable and charming and more than willing to give us samples of sauces and proteins to try. Overall, a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere and a really delicious meal too! We will definitely be returning.

My usual spot for fast Tex-Mex, I usually get the same thing, shredded beef burrito, and as usual I got it loaded and toasted.... it’s always consistent and great tasting!Never had any issues, it is a bit pricey but you do get a loaded burrito with guacamoleIt’s something different from the normal hamburger option

Fresh and tasty! It's my first time to try their burritos/naked burrito loved it. I asked for spicy but it could be more spicy but that's okay, the food is fresh which i really liked. We had chicken and steaaak soo yummy! The place is clean however since covid, we cant eat inside unfortunately but still, they prep it clean and good!
