I don't normally make reviews but I had to just based on my shopping experience I had today. I originally wanted to purchase the s23 ultra, but the sales associate Justin was very well knowledgeable with the products and listened to what I needed and ended up picking up a tablet, a s21fe and ear buds for less than the cost of the s23. He is a genuine guy and looks out for his customers. Come see him if you ever considering purchasing from this location.

Handing in a phone for a simple screen protector change. Staff made it seem like we were launching a satellite. It's taken 30+ mins (and counting) to input some data into their computer, and 3 people. So that means it's definitely harder than changing a lightbulb.Wish my workplace had such a nice attitude to speed.Also FYI for anyone with a Flip or Fold. The 'screen protector' that your phone comes with out of the box isn't covered by Samsung care because it's an 'accessory' (installed at the factory).Edit: now been 45+ minutes and we're still programming Hal 6000Update: at least the staff's happy to chat amongst themselves.

I bought a $1,500 S23 ultra and within a month it started having problems. I brought the phone here for service but I was told that they require some parts which they do not have in stock for the repair. this was over a month ago and they still haven't been able to receive the part (or so they claim). I'm not sure what to do as I am fully stuck with a broken phone. the customer service keeps telling me to wait for the part and that it will arrive by next week however it never does and they never call me back. I am never buying a Samsung product again and will let everyone know about the terrible Samsung customer service. It is impossible to reach the understaffed customer service here.

Very horrid experience at the Yorkdale Samsung Store today. I walked in with my sister and toddler, and there were 2 staff just chatting with each other at the checkout lane. I assumed they were training or something in that nature so I decided to wait for the other 2 who were checking out customers. When one of the staff was done with her checkout, she just went to join the other 2 staff doing nothing, and resumed chatting, completely ignoring us. At this time, I was seated for 15 mins with my toddler. I had to ask them, Are we going to be attended to?" That's when one of the guys walked up and I directed him to my sister who wanted to purchase a phone. I walked up to the lady and asked for assistance getting trade-in costs for my Apple and Samsung tabs. The price I was told was 135 for the Apple and 170 for the Samsung

Samsung experience store was a bad experience. Was told to visit this store as they deal with warranty on watches, no one wanted to help. Finally got help, was told the watch is out of warranty when I had 4 months left of the 12 month warranty. They suggested that I bought an open box, I opened the seal on the box so I know it wasn't an open box. They said they would fix it anyway because it was a common issue, took my information down and told me the part is on backorder. They never called me back nor updated me on what's going on. Been trying to call them multiple times over the last few months to no avail. I give up. I'd rather throw away the watch if i have to continue to deal with this store.

This is advice to anyone who is looking at the Galaxy fold phone. I have a Galaxy fold 3 under warranty and the protective screen is split. As they are not able to get parts and the delay on the product repair is now going into 6 months I highly recommend you consider looking at another phone. The Galaxy fold is not ready for regular use. In less than a year multiple if not hundreds of phones are slightly cracked in the middle at the fold. As promised 200,000 folds is not even close to the expectation. For the price of this phone in one year the novelty of being able to use it, which I will comment is a fantastic experience. The only unfortunate side is that you will be left with a phone that is splitting down the middle and the warranty will not be covered. I wish everyone the best please consider another phone or consider another provider I know I will.

Recently purchased a new phone from the Samsung Yorkdale store and had a great experience. I visited the store last Sunday and my customer rep Fatima demonstrated great active listening skills and helped me choose the S23 based on my requirements to replace my existing S21. What I liked was how she didn't try to up sell me on a more premium model like the S23+ or Ultra. Additionally, when I had questions around other comparable phones, Fatima and another rep named Justin were very knowledgeable about the comparative specs and they didn't speak poorly about the competition or show bias. And for the S23, I wanted the cream color which was out of stock but instead of pushing an existing in stock color, Fatima went above and beyond to locate one and pick it up herself personally from the Scarborough Town Centre location which I appreciated greatly as it showed that she cared more about customer satisfaction over a quick sale. She also helped ensure I was able to take advantage of applicable promotions to get me the best price and helped with my data transfer, ensuring it was 100% accurate before leaving. So if you're looking for a new Samsung phone I'd suggest asking for Fatima and Justin for support!

I don't usually leave reviews but it's kind of ridiculous when the main Samsung helpline suggests going in person to see if my parts have arrived because no one is picking up the phone at the store. I called multiple times with no answer. In store help was fine, but I shouldn't have to commute an hour each way to see if my warranty parts have arrived or not. I'm not typically one to complain, but it's a touch ironic when I can't call the phone store. I don't blame the employees necessarily, they're very busy, but there could be a better system put in place.

Excellent customer service beyond point of purchase! I’d like to dedicate this review to salesperson Adrian. He took the time to review the validity of a suspicious receipt that was provided to me by a private seller who claimed that a “brand new sealed phone” was purchased at this store. I wasnt even a customer at their store and yet he took initiative to have me email a picture of the receipt to him so that he and his manager can review it. This kind gesture helped me save not only $$$ but also from a potentially dangerous transaction. I greatly appreciate your time and effort in helping me with this situation!
