Honestly, I've always been a bit skeptical about therapists and counselling in general, until I met Dan. He didn't treat me like a subject to be worked on, rather a human being with great potential for better things. He saw beyond all the symptoms and treated the root. I have been seeing Dan Seleshi for a number of years now, frequency dependent on what is going on in my life at the time. I was referred to Dan for longer term treatment of general anxiety and depression. I am a 40-something professional female who is ambitious and wants to be the best mom, daughter, sister, partner, friend, step-mom that I possibly can be, and the stress of life caught up with me in my late 30's. I sought support.I value Dan as part of my self-care as someone that is there to help and support me. Dan's compassion and understanding are on display when we meet, whether in-person or virtually. Dan has employed a number of different techniques in our sessions, I am particularly fond of the socratic questioning.
