Amanda is absolutely incredible!!! She has such a loving and friendly approach with the owners and their fur babies. She treats every dog like her own. She is very knowledgeable and strategic with her training approach and accommodates for your dog’s behaviour and your needs too! Highly recommend!! Also, my dog adores her.

Amanda is amazing! We called Amanda when Hank, our 5 month old golden doodle started resource guarding and showing signs of aggression. Amanda listened to all of our concerns, stayed in constant communication with us and easily become Hanks best friend! Hank achieved or is easily on his way to achieving all the goals we set out at the beginning of the month! I can not recommend the Wiser Canine enough!

My partner and I used Amanda a few months ago when we got our Bernedoodle puppy. She’s now 11 months old, and has such good manners and general behaviours. When Amanda first came by, our dog was in a cast - so we were feeling lost as dog parents and training was not going as well as we had hoped on our own. Amanda came in with a plan, and got us set up so quickly. She uses clicker training, which we loved & still use with our dog. I thought it was going to be so annoying to keep up with, but it has just become apart of our walks at this point. Our pup responds to it well - better than what we were using which was “yes”. Amanda was great and helped ease the stress of being first time pet owners. We were felt comfortable to ask her lots of questions (which trust me, we had).She was able to help us teach her some recall in the apartment. As well as sit, down, wait, on me. We also used a fun one “touch” which is super cute and incredibly helpful. When we visited the cottage, our pup Penny was definitely overstimulated and running around like a maniac. Our recall command “come” that we have been working on without Amandas help was failing miserably - but “touch” was working every time! Amanda showed us different ways to use the “Touch” command, and this was one of them. We’re so glad to know this command because it obviously clicks better for Penny than “come” does. We decided after that cottage weekend, that we need to book more sessions with Amanda pronto!Due to us living in an apartment building, we had challenges that someone in a house wouldn’t. She was very well educated on different ways of getting to the same result in training, which helped us a lot. Amanda gave us say on what we felt we wanted our puppy to learn first to last. She was very encouraging and our pup absolutely loved her. Like many first time dog parents, we felt slightly in over our heads at points, especially with the cast situation, and Amanda was the calm we needed in the storm of puppyhood! I recommend her to anyone I talk to that has a dog. Now that the weathers getting nice, we’re going to be to have Amanda back in the coming weeks for her recall training. Our pup being half Bernese is stubborn, so we’re glad to have Amanda around for help - especially after the cottage fiasco!See you soon Amanda!

I’ve used Wiser Canine for dog walking & one on one training! Amanda was absolutely fabulous for both. She always keep us updated with photos & videos when our dog is in her care. She’s attentive to our dogs specific needs (dog reactive) and makes sure she gets the appreciate amount of exercise & mental stimulation while keeping her safe & comfortable. We just started one on one training but I have already learned so much & can see a huge difference in my dogs reactivity/ training & our relationship. Can not recommend The Wiser Canine enough.

Amanda did 8 Walk and Train sessions with our dog Marley while we were on vacation. Marley has always been a dog that pulls on her lead. During these sessions she taught Marley how to walk at a calmer pace and thus is making our walks more enjoyable. After my first walk with her I could not believe the difference in her behaviour. Amanda provides very positive feedback about your dog and treats them like your own. We enjoyed the daily pictures and update and clearly Marley was very happy with her walks. We highly recommend Amanda and wished we would have used her services earlier.

I would definitely recommend Amanda to any client who is looking for positive reinforcement based training. Amanda took the time to get to know our families needs and goals and she was able to develop a fun and personalized plan for us.
