John Boldt BuildersWe had our first home built by John Boldt Builders 32 years ago in 1990. It has been our home ever since and we still enjoy living in it after all these years. This house was a pleasure to call home right from the very start. We did not know who John Boldt Builders were initially until we viewed their first model home in Fonthill where we now live. The high quality of the craftsmanship on display and the solid construction evident in every aspect of the home’s features were extremely impressive. John Boldt Builders exceeded our expectations concerning their many skilled tradespeople for their thoroughness to detail. It was also the honesty and integrity of John Boldt the founder and Dan Duerrstein his son in law and project manager that made John Boldt Builders our choice of home builder. They were both a pleasure to work with and made our house building experience seamless and thoroughly satisfying.Our home has stood the test of time as we have had to do nothing in the way of structural repairs in the 32 years that we have lived here. What has been done in those years were updates with respect to décor. Whenever we decided to make a change, we would consult with Dan who always steered us in the right direction. Many of the tradespeople who were involved with the construction of our home are still in the business and continue to support us with our updates. Even though it is now 32 years later we are very thankful that we can still count on Dan Duerrstein for support and advice. We are also happy to hear that John Boldt himself is still with us at 92 years of age and enjoying a well-deserved retirement.Thanks to the consummate professionals at John Boldt Builders, we have a high-quality home that we are very proud of and enjoy. In 2021 we took a huge leap, feeling crazy and decided to demolish our home and rebuild it on the existing lot. We highly recommend John Boldt Builders. The whole experience from start to finish, was favourable. The house was completed on time. The materials are good quality, along with the workmanship. Minor problems, which are common in any building project after move in, were promptly addressed and rectified. Dan is honest and honourable.....always easy to contact too. A design consultant and cabinetry consultant were included. Their expertise proved to be very helpful, and we are so happy with the result! After comparing with other builders, we found John Boldt uilders to be reasonably priced. They were sensitive to our needs and wants. Overall, the project was carried out in a professional manner, and it ran smoothly from our perspective. We would build again with this company, without hesitation!
