My daughter goes in there and always spends 100s of dollars I sometimes dont go in right away with her becosue I dont care to much about that store . I wish the people who worked there didnt always give her looks of give her a hard time when she's looking around.. they always seem to assume that she will not get anything.. it's annoying for sure

I had a horrible experience with a cashier named Katie today( I only know her name because she said This is my name for when you are going to complain". She was struggling to process my refund and I can understand that but the way she acted towards me was extremely disrespectful and was making it seem like it was my fault when I trusting she knew what she was doing while she was processing it. Had an interaction with an older lady employee in the skin care section and it was really odd because she was very judgmental and passive aggressive. The store is small and all the employees run into your way where you have to quickly move or theyll just bump into you.

Me and my friend went to the store yesterday. My friend( who has a language barrier, wears a hijab and has brown skin ) asked this old lady employee for huda beauty section. This employee in return said “ I am good, thank you asking, how wonderful of you to ask me how I was ” sarcastically before she rudely pointed to the stall.It is ‘not’ the customers duty to greet you but the other way around. On top, she was eyeing my poor friend as if she was there to steal. I have never witnessed such racism before.This location lost a loyal customer in the form of both of us. From reading other reviews. I think another individual has mentioned a rude old lady employee also and yet shocking she still continues to be an employee at this location.I will definitely be following up with this in person also to get employee details on this said person and file a complaint with Sephora head quarters.

This was my second time having an awful run in with sue/ susey in the skin care section (the older lady a lot of the other poor reviews are about) both interactions were 4 months apart. I thought the first time was just her having a bad day, but now I know she’s just crabby and looking to put customers down to make herself feel better/ compensate for something. I think the worst thing about my second interaction with her was that she was training someone. To think that this employee is in charge of training someone mortifies me. Teaching new employees to put down customers and give them attitude.The first time I interacted with her she was incredibly passive aggressive and snarky and seemed annoyed that I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for. It’s her job to educate customers on products and help them navigate the hundreds of products in the store. When I told her I wanted a higher quality product but didn’t want to spend over $100 on a face cream she then became increasingly condescending. She was very impatient with me when I couldn’t decide on which product to pick . I didn’t actually ask for help in the beginning, she was just very aggressive about offering her assistance and I would have been happy browsing the products alone and taking my time.This second interaction, the one that has now prompted me to leave this review happened July 8th while she was training someone.Once again, she approached me aggressively and forcefully to offer assistance when none was needed. I new exactly the product I wanted (primer) and when I went to reach for it she very quickly picked the product up as if I wasn’t allowed to touch it? My goal was to apply a full face of primer and top it with the foundation I was looking to buy and walk around the mall for a bit and come back and purchase if it didn’t make my skin itch/ get patchy. Every time I’ve thought I liked a foundation, bought it, wore it for an evening and hated it, so I was trying to be smarter this time before I spent a couple hundred on makeup, as I don’t live close and can’t return things easily. So I asked her to have a sample of the primer, and it wasn’t enough so I asked for some more and she looked at me weirdly and then proceeded to squeeze out almost a table spoon of product onto my hand very passive aggressively. I stepped a foot over to put it on in the mirror with my friend and watched her lean over to the girl she was training, whisper something, then the trainee looked up at me and laughed. I wasn’t born yesterday to know when someone’s whispering comments about you. What are we, in highschool? This is a grown woman I’m talking about. She didn’t even try to hide the fact that she was making a snarky comment at my expense. This made me and my friend extremely uncomfortable and I’m just in complete shock that this person works here, there’s no way I’m the only one she’s acted this way towards. Can’t wait until Sephora opens up in lynden mall so I never have to go back to this location and deal with sue with the awful attitude issue. I go to Sephora to buy beauty products, not to be put down by its employees. I really hope someone looks into camera footage, this employee needs to be put in her place.

This was my first visit to a Sephora, and I wasn't greeted by anyone to see if I needed help, which I expected. Also, I never made it too far into the store as the smell of perfume was way too overpowering with way too many scents.Im not sensitive to perfume, but i just couldn't handle it. It gave me an instant headache. Apparently, people go the just for a free spayed or something..wowMaybe I'll try again soon.

Very much enjoy this Sephora location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The products I seek are typically in stock, however it can be a challenge during the holiday season (but that’s every store really). The only reason why I am giving this review 4 stars instead of 5, is because I wish Sephora would bring back the ability for customers to obtain fragrance samples from any cologne or perfume to try outside of the store. The fragrance department smells way too strong, so it’s not possible to properly test a fragrance in store before purchasing. Samples were an option a few years ago, and was taken away just before the pandemic.

Went in one of the drawers to find some more product(nobody has ever told me not to) and then one of the workers closed the drawer on me and spoke to me in a passive aggressive tone while an older woman employee looked at me weird. i understand now i’m notallowed to check for more product myself but an attitude is the last thing to use when working in costumer service. some of the employees are super sweet but i did not have a great experience today Lol.

I went in for a specific product. Every single sales associate looked at me and ignored me. I luckily was able to find the product on my own while being followed around the store. The associate at the register was the only associate that greeted me.
