Stouffville Academy of Music and Dance

We had to pull my daughter out of piano. I found this place very unorganized. We had to follow up with them for 7 months to have them reschedule missed classes. They kept telling me they will schedule and never did. Then they finally did only to cancel. After multiple follow ups they scheduled a class with this man who made my 6 year old daughter cry as he was very aggressive and saying she was wasting his time. That's when I decided to pull her out of this so called academy ".2 stars only for her sweet piano teacher Donna. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this place at all."

I can honestly share a great review about this school because I've seen it first hand! The head staff know how to successfully run a school and business, they have clearly been doing this for a long while. They genuinely care about their programs and progress of the students and the effectiveness of their teachers. From regular check-ins from management to quality teachers they have done their homework when it comes to providing proper education and training. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Without a doubt, I would suggest this place for anyone looking for a reliable, consistent place to improve or learn new skills in the arts: dance, music, drama. Great atmosphere for learning and making new friends.

I joined the Stouffville Academy family 26 years ago at two years old. Growing up with Lee, Andi, Miranda, Robyn, and so many other teachers, I always thought of the studio as my second home. At 18, I started teaching at the studio. As a former student, I had the opportunity to teach so many students I previously danced with. This was such a joy to watch them grow up on the stage. Over the years as a teacher, I have always felt so comfortable coming to work in a professional and welcoming environment. Being able to collaborate and work with Andi, Jen, Eliecer, Brenna, and Ava has helped me grow immensely as a teacher and dancer. This will be my first year not teaching at the studio and I miss all the staff and students already. I can’t wait to see all the 2022/23 performances!

I am so thankful to have found Stouffville Academy for my daughter. Their love of dance, performance, family and their encouragement has allowed my daughter to flourish!!

This is longer than most reviews I write but it’s important that I share in detail, just how great this place is! When my daughter was young, we looked into & visited many dance and music schools in the area and after learning more about Stouffville Academy of Music & Dance, we enrolled our eldest and haven’t looked back. Since then our 3 kids have attended music classes, many dance classes & summer camps and they always want more.The reason is because the teachers aren’t only professional, passionate & qualified but they care deeply about the well-being of every single student. Personal skill development, safety, teamwork, creativity and having fun are all part of what makes Stoufville Academy such an outstanding school. You can also count on great communication, positive friendships & a clean environment.We are so grateful to the many teachers - Lee, Tom, Andi, Jen, Eliecer, Brenna, Ava, Emily, Lily, Sanjana & Sheldon who help make Stouffville Academy the wonderful place that it is.

We really are one big family here, I love all my friends like sisters. I'm so happy to be back!!!❤️❤️❤️

Love this place! This is the first time my girls are going to Stouffville Academy of Dance. We have previously been to another Dance Studio here in Stouffville however, I didn't find it big enough to move around and not up to my standards. Stouffville Academy is clean, very friendly staff, Happy people, and great atmosphere. I am quite happy with my decision to sign my girls up here. <3
