We went for my daughters Birthday last minute got a group on voucher -presented it to the waitress all ok - not explained that on of the kids had a regular plate so a £28 family meal + 1 adult and drinks ended up costing nearly an extra £38 for 5 refill drinks and 2 adult dinner -nobody knew what to do with the voucher and tried to make me take a child’s takeaway meal I was extremely disappointed £66 waitress confirmed our voucher and our food etc before we ate -it was a complete farce- won’t be back sometime soon

Stopped here for a hearty breakfast on our way on holiday. Lovely gentleman at the front desk, very friendly. Food was good, buffet style eat as much as you like. Suitable for the smaller and bigger appetites of our party of 10. Friendly, polite staff.

Overall a poor experience today cold food undercooked bacon .decour getting very worn and stuck together with duck tape. Sad because I am a regular user of toby .staff are brilliant and accommodating mario is a star. Hope toby can invest a bit to tidy up a lovely venue.

Been so excited to get to Toby’s for a lovely family lunch, we got in and the staff were fantastic! HOWEVER! The food was nice but wasn’t the roast potatoes were dry and not nice, the stuffing was mushy and almost wet like my partner is vegan and the options they had was so limited! After not eating the whole meal asked if I could take away was told no!, but on the other hand there was a male waiter who was absolutely fantastic who made sure my little girl was okay and made sure she had a free dessert!Other than that experience was not as good as I thought

Went for a Toby breakfast for the first time with the children and wow so yummy and a mixture of different foods did feel strange eating Yorkshire puddings for breakfast lol but worth it.The staff are always friendly and the bar man (can't remember his name) was happy to explain how it all worksAlways better to book a table as didn't want to get turned away and glad we did as was well worth it.Breakfast cooked lovely and no washing up in sight = pricelessOur daughter couldn't wait to get stuck in to the Yorkshire pudding.

It was very reasonably priced considering you can eat as much luke warm over-cooked vegetables as you want. The fish served in a paper bag was just so weird sat at a table in a restaurant though. I would not go back by choice.The lady serving us was delightful though, too friendly to tell her everything was cold. I would prefer a spicy veggie wrap with fries from Macdonald's though even though I wish Macdonald's didn't exist.

We came to eat in. Staff always lovely and happy. Really helpful making reasonable adjustments for us. The young blond girl carving the meet is great..she got so much abuse last time we are in but is still happy and helpful.(don't know her name sorry)

Toby. Is what it is.Food is good, plenty of it.Service was a bit poor. Had a bit of attitude from the person who seated us. Unfortunately we were sat on a table for two, right in the middle. There were other tables available but when we asked if we could be seated there we were told they weren't available. Wasn't aware you could reserve a table, and we did book.But all in all. Nice place to grab a cheap roast that you don't have to cook yourself

Stopped here after visiting Peterborough Cathedral and a welcome Break from our drive back from North Yorkshire. The service and food here is excellent and was a really good value.
