They really need to be able to give no stars. Read the reviews. This place is terrible to their staff. They do not help you out when you call if you’re able to get through. They won’t call you back and the coordination of their scheduling is terrible. PASS THE BUCK. The 5 stars are from supervisors so they don’t look as bad but you’ll see no comments cause it is hard to say something nice.

Hailey is the rudest person I have had to deal with. I have no clue how she’s a supervisor/coordinator. The company is always short psws. Lie to their clients. Have no compassion.

Absolutely terrible service. My mother in law has little to no ability and most of the time very unaware of her surroundings and she is very stiff and it’s hard to work sometimes which is understandable but the amount of PSW workers who are unwilling to help out and have very little sympathy is unbelievable. The coordinator is consistently sending modified workers that are not at all suitable for my mother in laws needs and they leave doing barely any work. Also an office worker named MONICA was incredibly rude over the phone and told one of her workers to just leave me home without cleaning anything. My mother in law receives PSW twice a day - morning and afternoon, on Monday august 1, the “morning” person was possibly the rudest worker I have come across. First she comes at 1:30 and she’s supposed to come at 10:30 then she asks me for help which I don’t mind doing but I was in the midst of eating my lunch so I was unable to in the moment but then she goes and asks my 15 year old daughter to do so which is unacceptable. When I come to help her she tells me that “this is why no PSW wants to come to your place” and I found this incredibly disrespectful because as a home care service provider how can you say such disrespectful things to myself and my grandmother. Then she proceeds to leave without completing even half her job and I was just astounded by the amount of disrespect and rudeness I received for no reason at all. For anyone wondering this workers name was GANGA. I truly hope that no body receives this disrespect in their home towards them or their loved ones. If it is in your control please try to avoid PARAMED as your home care provider.

The nursing company here is great . All of the nurses are wonderful but the PSW team seems to be out of control for some reason.

Unreliable with little regard for what they do for a living. Staff book off all the time with no remorse of what that does to families. Do not hire privately.

The psw do not stay for there schedule times and refuses to do their duty even for pt. Shower. Say they have other clients can't stay and/ or have to pay for traffic ticket which is not client problem. Rude in client and family home disrespectful. Leave messages for Supervisor and no call back or long time. Most are good but other terrible. As don't seen to care about people or the job. Some shouldn't be doing this great job. So disappointing.

Paramed has been in my parents life for about 8-9 years.Overall the main issues we have had is scheduling. The coordinators who do this really need some more training-common sense training!I could write a book on some of the issues re: scheduling, having psws come just to plop down and sit and play on their phone. When there could be many things-just tiny little things they could do to look busy. Seniors are seniors, but they certainly notice whos good and whos not. Overall my parents(now just my Dad) have had alot ofnthe same psws for years-and we all(as a family) just love them for all they do. Once they get to know their clients/their likes preferences-it really makes a huge difference in care.But-back to scheduling-breakfast visit scheduled 10:30am (poor Dad is ready for breakfast at 7am) then lunch time visit is 11:30am (but lunch service is delivered at 12 noon. Then we get to dinner time- we always strive for 5pm-or my Dad calls and says nobody has been for dinner yet. It could be scheduled anywhere from 4:30-7pm. After dinner he has a bedtime visit to assist with getting his hearing aids on the charger. So bedtime visit is scheduled about 15 min to 30 min after dinner visit. So imagine -your finished your dinner, settle in to watch a baseball game or make some calls ....and the doorbell rings and there is the psw again-to take your hearing aids out and put on the charger(so now you can't hear anything on the tv or the phone). And they want you to put on your pjs (that generation doesn't lounge around in pjs.!) They put them on for bed!So now what to do? Fall asleep in chair for hours and then get up for the day at 2am -take a shower and wait for breakfast at 7, 8, 9 or 10am -whenever cooridinators decide to slot them in.I am not blaming anyone in particular. They just really need training -and they can learn their operating system and do it blind folded-but the common sense part- what to do about this???

Please hold for eternity. Then when you get someone they cold transfer you to some unknown voice-mail. Then no one calls you back. Highly disorganized company. Mickey Mouse Operation.

Indicate they have 24 hour emergency number. But calls go to automated answer loop which you get to listen to for 5 minutes (your call is very important to us etc.), then your sent to voicemail. Happens each time, who needs that?

My grandmother has limited mobility and needs assistance bathing. My parents had to purchase a new chair to use in the bathroom to facilitate the bathing process by helping the PSW assist my grandmother in getting into the shower. The PSW refuses to use the chair, and so my grandmother has not had a proper bath in 7 months! It's inhuman and criminal!
