Luv the launch for walleye season. Paying is a pain in the butt. Another treasure in the city of Detroit that they can't manage properly. Thank goodness Belle isle went to the state. City rot was taking its toll.

It's a very nice launch, but getting there you can expect to drive through some rough neighborhoods. I paid $12.75 to launch today.

Very clean with plenty of space the park with 6 different boat launches. the fee is $10 A-day, if you're looking for a free boat launch check out Del Rey boat launch.

Besides the 50 minute wait to launch the boat the launch was nice. The gentleman at gate tells you how to pay to use launch & the cost is 12.95 per day, I think 218.00 per year and lots of parking. Looks like they are starting to expand the parking lot. They need to address the pot holes and add more gravel for parking lot or repave & add a separate gate to Exit.When that stuff get implemented I will give them 5 Stars.

This ramp costed $12/day and they don't accept cash. You have to have a phone with a credit card. They have a sign that you must scan using QR code. Can be confusing. Finally they let me drive off after payment. FYI: Be nice to the gatekeepers, or they won't let you leave even if you pay.But the stay on Detroit River was nice.
