Very small and quiet park. If you’re looking for a place to be alone or read this is it

Moulin Cavalier Park
Quiet place to read, have tea or packed meal. Go to back top bench away from the tour groups. Tour groups started more heavily at 11am, go early AM. Could hear opera singer from nearby school, lovely.

Moulin Cavalier Park
A beautiful little gem of a park that feels off the beaten path. At least when we were there on a summer afternoon in August 2016 there were no throngs of tourists the way three were on other of the bigger tourist streets and venues.

Small neighborhood park tucked in beside the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec. The views over the city rooftops are excellent. Nice quiet spot for a photo, or a morning coffee.

Nice, quiet park. Good for a nap. There is shade and a bench. Hidden and dark at night

In 1663 Simon Denys built a mill on top of this small Rocky rise above Quebec City. The site had a windmill. As part of the hasty fortifications of Quebec in 1690, Governor Frontenac employed the site. In 1693 the site was formally incorporated into the defenses of the city as a redoubt. The mill was demolished at the end of the French regime.Very quiet location. Okay views - not postcard quality. NO PARKING NEAR THIS PARK!!

Beautiful, quiet park just steps from the main tourist streets. Lovely view from the park. Informative sign at the entrance. Total hidden gem!

I had the local old man tell me an unknown good place. There is a very calm place even though there is right next to one of the most touristic streets, Rue Sainte-Louise.
