BlueKey Design + Build

I interviewed three contractors for my project. Of the three, BlueKey Construction was obviously the most qualified – really head and shoulders above the others. My project involved two major load-bearing walls, and while I knew what I wanted to do, I was anxious to find a construction company that was up to the challenge. From the initial interview I knew that Ed understood the engineering challenges and that his team was fully capable of creating the solution. BlueKey is a very competent and professional crew. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and hope to hire them again for my next project

We had a great overall experience working with BlueKey. We had our whole house remodelled and it turned out better than we ever imagined. We knew Ed and his team cared from the moment he walked through the door and took a minute to greet our 4-year-old son and our 12-year-old golden. He was well prepared and explained the process from start to finish. The design process was enjoyable. We were able to work with our designer to come up with a rendering we really loved. Gerri took care of dealing with the city and getting the permit. She completed all the necessary paperwork, had us sign and submitted on our behalf.We were very concerned about how they would navigate the work with everyone at home, but BlueKey made sure to keep us updated with what work was happening on what day by keeping their builder’s app updated. We LOVED their app. It made our lives so easy. The workers were extremely kind and very professional. Harley had a keen eye for the smallest details and was a perfectionist. We appreciated his OCD. JP and Darren kept us laughing and were great guys. For 5 months, they were like family. They did a quality job, and the end results are beautiful. We did have a couple minor hiccups along the way as any renovation would have, but they were very quick to find ways to resolve those issues and stayed in constant communication with us, so we knew what was being done. We're looking forward to having BlueKey do our next renovation!

BlueKey completed our complete main floor remodel including my dream kitchen. They were able to take my dream and make it a reality.Their team of workers were very accommodating as our children were home while they were completing the renovation. I can't speak highly enough of their professionalism, their attention to detail and their follow up. JP is the best! We highly recommend BlueKey Construction!

Ed worked with me of about a year prior to starting the project, really appreciated the time he gave both myself and my wife to answer questions. Always felt like he was on our team. I think everyone goes into a renovation with some trepidation, he listened to my vision and can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing. Everything came together on time and on budget.Want to thank all the staff that worked with me (too many to mention). They were all willing to do whatever it took to make us happy and turn this renovation into our dream.I would highly recommend them to anyone, it was a great experience!

Can't say enough about how thrilled I am with my experience working with the Blue Key team on my basement renovation! I dreamed about it for a long time and I am so grateful they helped make it a reality and more than beyond my expectations.From the start of the process with Ed through until the final sign off, the Blue Key team was timely, incredibly professional, incredibly detailed, and very thorough in their communication throughout. It's almost hard to properly articulate, but the level of care and pride in their work and in doing their best for their clients is just so apparent in every little step of the process.The end result has really been life changing...and no client could ever be happier with my new shower and bathroom than myself. Your project manager was great to work with; easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Whenever I came to the office your employees were unfailingly polite and eager to please us. We chose BlueKey Construction to do a complete kitchen remodel and it was a great decision. Ed worked with us on every aspect of the job, from budgeting to design, and his attention to detail is exemplary. He brought in top-notch people at each stage of the project. We had constant communication with Ed, most often in person, which is key for a job of this size. We are thrilled with our kitchen and everyone who has seen it says “Wow!” BlueKey Construction will be the only company we call for future remodeling projects.
