Totally disappointed in the how unorganized they are and letting people in before the event was published to start

Unprofessional with no respect for the bereaved.If you are looking for a company that will compassionately support a family during one of the most difficult times in their lives this is not the business for you. Use anyone else!I am the executor for the estate of my best friend who passed away. I live in the Southern Interior and made a special trip to the Island to take care of estate business, including meeting with Vancouver Island Estate Liquidators. I had let Wayne know I was traveling in to meet with him. I arrived 5 minutes late for our meeting. When I arrived he had already been let in to the house by my friend's mother, who was deep in grief. She was not able to convey accurate information re the business of the estate.But that didn't matter to Wayne. Just as I arrived he gruffly announced to me that he had spoken to 'my mother' (not my mother) and that I had wasted his time. I was completely taken aback.Wayne was incredibly rude to a grieving mother and he made the completely wrong assumption about the estate sale without listening to anyone. The people at this company are only looking to make a quick and easy dollar.

Company parked commercial vehicle across 3 handicapped parking stalls in order to haul freight out of mall when mall has commercial loading zones. Mall has a medical clinic plus a life labs for people in need. Company license plate Is a veteran plate and a lot of veterans are in wheel chairs. Mall had plenty of parking away from handicapped spots to park truck and trailer.I would not recommend this company. If they have no respect for those in need they will have no respect for your needs!!!

We were extremely happy with the service we got from Wayne and his buyer. They did exactly what they said they'd do.

Not at all helpful or understanding to my sons and I as we were losing my husband and their dad. -

Thought I was dealing with a reputable person who claims this business as his main telephone number.You know who you are! Basically gave me the run around for over a week about some things he wanted to purchase from me off Marketplace.Long story short, he is not reputable. Shame on you! Wasted me time and efforts. Will never ever deal with VIEL!

Wayne's team of Professionals do a good job and assist people who wish to get the job done as painlessly as possible. Sellers end up with 'everything gone' and are able to move forward. Buyers are able to find some treasures and enjoy the experience. I am sure it is not always easy - but they work hard for the Sellers and the Buyers in a job that is 'super-busy for a brief period of time - with many people asking questions at the same time etc.. I understand how it can be challenging for them... But all -in-all a Great job done!

Went to one of their estate sales having pre arranged with the operators prior to have certain items put aside as sold and have assurance of price. Get there the next day and half the previously arranged items were long but gone and the other items had gone up in price by THREE TIMES. Nothing but a bunch of bait-and-switch scammers.

Wayne was nothing short of amazing when he helped with the sale of an estate for our family. Wayne, Thea, and the rest of the team were a force to be reckoned with. The sale couldn't have gone any better. We were so glad to have hired Wayne. Highly recommended.

What I observed - someone had obviously passed away. The liquidators opened the doors and plastered a couple of green painters tape on a few items and drawers and set up a table at the front door. Basically nothing. It was disgusting. No respect for property, the dead, or the grieving. And to top it all off the woman taking the money treated me with such disrespect. Overpriced stuff and argued about the price of items they supposedly priced. Blatantly said to me”I’m not selling you that at that price” with attitude. I’ve been in the customer service industry for 30 years. She was older than me. You’d think with this type of job, you’d be a bit more delicate. Would never recommend using or going to a sale with them in charge. Terrible experience. I drove an hour to get there too. Shame on her.
