Giving Matt and TMJ Outdoor Services 5 Stars was a no brainer as there is nothing negative I can say about them. First class operation, on time, on budget, exactly as requested. Hard to beat that so I will use them again and so should you.

TMJ was highly recommended to us when we were searching for a professional landscaping team. They easily lived up to and exceeded our expectations on both projects we have completed with them to date. Great people, professional staff, they do what they say, on time, safely and the finished product is outstanding. The best indicator of a good supplier is how they manage unexpected issues during a job. In our case the designer (not TMJ) didn't adequately compensate for grade but TMJ didn't blame the designer, they stepped up and worked with us to provide a solution that worked out better than the original plan. Another recommendation I can provide is the compliments from our neighbours, many of whom I had never met and they took the time to drop by and compliment the work done.

Matt and his hardworking team did a great job on our interlock stone driveway. They were polite and receptive to my concerns and made sure to leave the site in good condition following each day of work. We now have a driveway to be proud of. Thank you Matt and your team.

We had a great experience with Matt and TMJ Outdoor Services when we had to have our collapsing stone retaining wall replaced. Matt was thorough in his assessment and explanation of what was going on with the deteriorating wall and what my options were in having a new one installed. With his guidance we chose a more modern design that would look great and perform much better than the old one. TMJ actually came in with a lower quote than I had expected, so that was also a welcome surprise! The job was completed in a timely manner without incident and the final retaining wall was excellent. In addition to the quality workmanship, we appreciated the great communication, the timeliness of the work schedule, the competitive pricing, and the friendly professionalism at every step of the process. TMJ came highly recommended to us by our landscape designer, and we are so happy that we decided to go with them! Both our hardscaping and landscaping look truly gorgeous, and we continue to receive compliments from neighbours, friends and family. Matt and his crew were always warm, professional and accommodating (They even thoroughly cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day!). Up until yesterday I would have given TMJ a 5 star review. They built a sheer decent wall for our pool and did a good job, they also squeezed the job in for us early so that we could have the feature in our pool area for an upcoming party.Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding and I don't feel it was handled as well has it could have been by them (thus the mark down of 2 stars).The quote from TMJ was the following: To supply and install Unilock Brussels Block wallstone to buildwater feature (5’ x 20” x 18”) To install sheer decent (supplied by owner) To supply and install Banas coping stone for capMy understanding was that as part of the install sheer decent"

We have worked with TMJ on multiple jobs both personally and corporately for over twenty years. Their team is well trained, and works in an efficient, professional and timely manner. Knowledgeable in health and safety standards. The team at TMJ are precise and detailed in their work, show up on time, in uniform and leave the job site daily in an orderly and clean fashion.
