The Trichos Evolution

During the covid the hairdresser was very professional and I was the only one in the salon for my appointment. Well taken care from the time entered to the end. I believe I have found my new hairdresser.

Toshera is a hair whisperer. I've been going to her for over 3 years and I've seen a significant difference in my hair growth and strength. It's not just about the style it's about the health of your hair.

Unfortunately earlier this week I did not have a pleasant experience at the Trichos Evolution Salon. I arrived on time with my 1 year old daughter who sat quietly in her stroller. Ten minutes into my appointment she began to fuss…not cry but fuss. I apologized to the owner who was cutting my hair and asked to pick her up. She then sat silently on my lap for the remainder of my 15 minute appointment. The salon was completely empty, there was not one customer or stylist in the salon. After I apologized she responded by saying ‘yeah, if the other stylist was here you would have to get somebody to come pick up your daughter’…This completely surprised me 1. Because there are more professional ways to state you do not want children in your facility, or any children to make a sound in your establishment. 2. As a woman one would think she would at the very minimum ask “is everything okay? If you need you can re book your appointment (charge may be required). 3. Although the salon is decorated beautifully to enhance the customers experience to create a “relaxing” atmosphere, the owner of the salons unwelcoming personality and short attitude is very unsettling. Not only did she seem unimpressed by my presence as soon as I walked into the door, she was very sharp with me as I attempted to make “small chat” with her during my appointment.Being new to the Brampton area and raised in a family of professional hair dressers and instructors I understand Salon etiquette and typically bringing a child to a salon is less than ideal, HOWEVER IF under the circumstances someone brings a child to a salon and they are well behaved a customer should not be made to feel uncomfortable and quickly dismissed out of the salon. My hair was cut without her even combing it through or an offer to style or up sell me (which I would have gladly paid for) This would at least have a customer leaving your salon feeling and looking good. I would have even asked for a flat iron at extra charge of course, or even scheduled a new appointment but she made it very apparent that she no longer wanted us in her salon. After leaving Trichos Salon my hair looked as if I rolled out of bed without a scarf or bonnet on.Ironically while venting to a neighbor she said she walked into the salon for an inquiry hoping to support local business and found the same woman to be very cold and unwelcoming. This resulted in her finding a new salon and sad to say this will be the same result for myself. All in all I hope instead of most women's defensive reactions to this one will receive this experience and either 1. Change the policy to no children at the salon or 2. Make the effort to be politically correct and professional to paying clients. Looking for a new stylist in the Brampton area! Thank you.

Got a colour and cut done, and honestly I can say its been one of the first times ive gone to a hair salon and walked out satisfied and perfectly happy with the outcome. Toshera was professional and pleasant, and offered good advice in styling my hair type. Will definately re vist and refer others.

I had my hair done here a month plus ago. I had a silk press done, and although the results were nice, I had heat damage. My hair did not revert back to its natural curl pattern despite being assured by the stylist, Rachel, that it would. I've had silk presses before and I've never had a problem.

I sent my 13 year old daughter , who has hated every salon we have ever been to. When I picked her up she was all smiles! Love the stylist calm demeanor and clean and relaxed environment. My appointment was another day and I was not disappointed. She was ready for me at my appointment time and was finished exactly when she said will be done. Seems like a small thing but deal breaker for me I hate spending hours in salons. My hair looks and feels great and we will definitely be back.

I came here to get a silk press at the very last minute in September. Before coming here I hadn’t been to a salon since 2007 but I definitely will be coming back here. I got zero damage to my hair and I also bought a new deep conditioner that had my curls looking amazing. I am extremely tenderheaded and she combed my hair with ease. The whole entire time was blissful. Thank you so much!!

I had a keratin treatment and 4 tracks added to my hair. Tochera was AMAZING! I have extremely kinky natural hair that was so painful to comb, but Tochera has the golden touch. She managed to comb my hair without pain or effort....at the end of my appointment my scalp was pain free! My hair was amazing and I have had so many compliments. Her customer service is exceptional; I felt as though I had been going there for years. I called before the appointment with a few questions and she was very sweet. She is the first hairdresser I have met who understands the importance of time, and was ready for me right at my appointed time. Thank you very much Tochera....You are now my hair guru for life!

I love this salon set up so pretty and professional I went in to do my hair for an upcoming event and showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and she did exactly what I wanted I really love the quality of products and how amazing my hair felt after and I had my appointment at 2 and my appointment was actually at 2 and there was no one waiting as I was coming someone was finished and leaving I really love the quality of the salon and customer service was great she has a client for life and I don’t live near the salon but worth the drive .
