This place is perfect. It is a brand new motel. The rooms are clean and well designed. I very well liked the service I got from the clerk.The prices are decent. There is a restaurant on the spot and the food is nice.Everything a wary traveller needs.I even plugged my range-extended electric car in one of the free outlets outside.

Only place to stay in the city. New and rooms are good. There are three buildings one storage each. I give one less star because of the management of the restaurant. The workers of the restaurant are not that friendly I find. Customer service is very slow. Food quality I will say not bad as a remote area.Near by shopping center from the hotel is 600 meter almost. Only one in the town.I have visited there for work. Didn't see much. 2 night 3 days only.

The staff are friendly and the chef makes a really good poutine! Tonnes of cheese curds and very good sauce! My friend ordered the all-dressed burger with fries and loved it too!

Being that it was the only hotel in Wemindji, I was quite pleased, and price was reasonable. The room did not have a desk I could work on, but there was a communal dining/kitchen/seating area that was usable with WiFi. Restaurant hours were a little cumbersome so plan accordingly. They closed at 7pm when I was there and is the only restaurant in town. Food choices are what you would expect for this type of restaurant.

Room in general was fine, but the bed was really short I'm 6 feet and my head was touching the wall while my feet extend past the bed. And the restaurant was closed due to staff not showing up that day

This inn offers the bare necessities to travelers in the James Bay. The rooms are clean and the restaurant offers generous delicious meals. They do offer WIFI however I highly recommend that they get their televisions to work in their rooms. I've been twice to the Maquatua Inn and both times, the TV's were non-functional. Also, at my 2nd visit, I was loged in the annex to the Inn that offers a functional kitchen. This was a good option for me, however the kitchen was dirty, lacked pots and pans and didn't have a kettle. My room at the annex was clean, but didn't have a chair nor a desk to work at, and again, the television was not working. This Inn is a good option for a short 24hr-48hr stay.
