Inverary Golf & Country Club

Lovely golf course, well maintained. Very walkable but power carts are available. Memberships are available but not required to golf here. Front 9 has very little water and no sand but the back 9 has plenty of both.

Another great year just started a little late the course looks great back out with all my buddies and my nature friends have come back tooEveryone stay healthy

Great course, back nine far more interesting than front 9. Unfortunately they had just punched greens so I cannot give 5 stars. But would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking to golf.

Golfed for the first time tonight with my 11 year old daughter (first time) and son. We all had a great time!! We picked a time that wasn't busy and enjoyed ourselves so much! Bonus that my daughter played for free :)I highly recommend anyone feeling nervous about 1st time golfing to pick an evening time during the week and try it :)We will definitely be out again!

It's a great golf course to play with your friends. I love it!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They didn't have a beverage cart, but offered to pack us a cooler to take out on the course. The front 9 was flat and open... good to warm up. The back 9 was tighter, with water and lots of trees for a fun challenge. Finding some of the tee boxes was tricky without cart paths to navigate. We loved that it wasn't overly busy, so we could take our time.

To be fair it was a busy day. Even though we were playing as fast as we could, and having to wait ourselves at every single hole before being able to tee off, the Marshall continued to harass us specifically for not playing fast enough. The Marshall followed us for 4 holes, until we had to switch to scramble and even ended up missing a bit of golf. I have no idea why we were singled out, since we are fast players (even admitted by the Marshall), and had to wait just as much as everyone else. On the back 9 we played much tighter to the players ahead of us, to avoid missing more golf (as we were instructed to do by the Marshall), only to be told off by another staff member waiting for us on the last hole. This led to a lot of frustration, especially when this staff member tried to tell us there is no Marshall working right now, hinting that we just made that up. Once the staff member started to hear our side of the story they became much more patient and professional. They even offered a free drink, for which we felt it would be too petty to accept, but still a nice gesture. Not sure the drink was worth all the frustration of the day, but that was something for sure. Course is what you expect for $40, but avoid on busy days, unless you like playing rushed scramble.

Back 9 is definitely better than the front. Have played here several times and the staff is excellent and seemed to take our 'playing' as a personal complement to their work.

No life groundskeeper came and tore a strip off 3 of us for so he says “throwing the flag like a javelin” cussed us out, probably busted people’s eardrums in Kingston he was yelling so loud. Not very professional if you ask meResponse*I’d love to see picture proof of the damages to the greens aswell as video of us doing those things thanks!

Sunday, all greens were punched. No course Marshall, no beverage cart, and we didn't tee off until 30 minutes past our tee time...Beautiful course, though. Scenic.
