Josh and his team were some of the most exemplary people I've ever had the opportunity to work with. Right from the beginning his incredible customer service, friendly demeanor and knowledgeable approach let me know my project was in good hands. Not only was the team fantastic but the product was incredible too in the last 10 days of having the system installed in my home it's already powered our car for the entire month!..and that's with some crummy weather too.I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to have Josh and his team involved in any electrical project solar or otherwise that you undertake. If I could give six stars I would!

High Tide upgraded our electrical service and installed solar panels on our roof. From early consultations and site visits, to every day communication, and a hassle-free completion, Josh, the High Tide crew, and office staff did an amazing job. We had an EV Charger installed Dec 9 by High Tide Energy. We can't say enough about the wonderful customer service we received. After initial assessment, we required an additional energy management system that had to be ordered. It took about 4 weeks to get the system, but the staff regularly provided us with updates on the status of our order.Thank you to Jairus (the estimator) for the quick turnaround time to receive the estimate. Thanks to Jenna (in the office) for the continued updates and great scheduling. And finally, to Braeden (the electrician) for fantastic work. What a great company!!You are all great ambassadors for the company, providing professional, efficient, and courteous service. Be proud!

I am a retired Nuclear Medicine physician with a lengthy experience with electric vehicles. High Tide Energy was recommended to me by a local Tesla owner who had a Tesla Wall Connector installed and was very happy with their service. When I checked their web site, I found that in addition to being certified Tesla installers, they specialized in solar energy installations. I asked High Tide Energy to come to my house in Sidney to give me a quote for a Wall Connector that I had already bought from Tesla, and in addition to see what they could offer for solar. Josh came out, and after discussing the wiring an location of the charging station, went up to the roof to check out solar possibilities. He then spent considerable time explaining what he had in mind, which part of the roof it would go best on and answering all my questions. He first asked me what I had in mind in terms of capacity, then gave detailed recommendations and a timeline for installation if I were to proceed. All this was done in a very professional manner, with no sales pressure and complete answers to all my questions. He gave a ballpark quote, which turned out to be almost exactly the final cost. The cost was quite reasonable; he estimated the the system would pay for itself in about 12 years. They handled all the permits.High Tide Energy did the installation while I was out of town. It was up and running within 2 weeks of when I signed the contract, and they did a wonderful job. Since installation, they stickhandled application to BC Hydro for net metering. I had a few more questions in the first few weeks of experience with the system. All questions got detailed answers.In summary, I am extremely happy with the service I got from High Tide Energy. I have already had neighbours coming to the door asking about it. I now have some real green cred on my street. On a sunny summer day, the system has been providing more than 30 KWh.Update: May 2019. After a year of experience with this system, I decided to see about adding additional panels. Josh came out and poked around on the various sections of the roof. He proposed putting a row of 6 panels on the south-facing roof (existing panels face south-east) and the guys came out a couple of days later for the install. After further discussion with Josh and some more roof inspection, we went with an additional 5 panels - two more facing south and 3 facing south-west. There is room for just two or 3 more.Speaking of integrity, my next-door neighbour asked Josh to see about possibilities for his house. Josh did his roof and sight lines assessment and recommended no panels at all, because of 25% shading by some nearby tall firs. That’s what I call no sales pressure!

We had High Tide Energy install a 16-panel solar system and an EV charger at our house. I was blown away by the professionalism, punctuality and cleanliness of the crew. They were unbelievably knowledgeable about the systems that they install and take care of all the permitting and inspections. Josh was able to calculate the efficiency of my system before hand and give me a firm quote and accurate figures on how much power the system would produce throughout the year. I love being able to track how much power is generated on my smartphone or computer. I would highly recommend High Tide Energy to anyone that is interested in making their home more eco friendly and reducing their hydro bills.

High Tide are an incredible crew. Every step in the process of designing, installing and monitoring an off-grid system at my recreational property gave me confidence that I was dealing with the very best. George and Thomas, the two project managers, really knew their stuff, and their crew worked so hard in often challenging conditions. Can't say enough good stuff about this team...

Our contractor recommended Hightide Energy and we could not be happier with the service provided by Josh, Duncan and the rest of the crew. Josh and Duncan promptly responded to my many emails and phone calls. I am happy that HighTide Energy is Tesla Certified. Now only if Tesla would get their act together and start supplying the powerwalls to Canada. I would highly recommend Hightide Energy as the go to company in BC for all your solar installs.

I used High Tide Energy to install additional solar panels to my existing PV system. I found the service provided to me by Shane, George, Tamara, Colin, Amanda, and all the staff that worked at my home to be excellent. Once a layout and location was decided on it did not take long at all to complete the installation of the 15 additional panels.Shortly after the addition to my system was up and running, one of my inverters failed. This had nothing to do with anything High Tide did. After contacting the manufacturer and transferring the inverter account to High Tide Energy (previous installer no longer in the business) it only took 1 week to install a new inverter from High Tide's inventory!High Tide is an excellent company to do business with in my opinion.

We had a very good experience in dealing with them. They were very prompt in quoting, competitive with another quote we had and were able to install promptly after given the go ahead. They took care of all of the paper work for Hydro and municipality. Workman doing the installation were nice guys and hard working;Josh Shepard, the Victoria Field manager was attentive and well informed on the technology and was able to answer my questions.I have been recommending them to everyone I have met that are interested in rooftop solar panels.
