Campobello Ferry

Excellent service. BUT, NOT OPEN THE 1ST 2 WEEKS OF JUNE.

It's a great way to get between the islands! The ride across is beautiful, and we saw seals and dolphins!

Easy crossing, charged us a fee of $29, they take Credit Cards!!

Always enjoy the trips from Deer island to Campobello island. During peak tourist season, the ferry departs Deer island on the 1/2 hour and Campobello on the hour. Check East Coast Ferries on Facebook for updates and changes to this as they keep the Facebook page current. Cost each way for 1 standard vehicle and 1 person (driver) is $22 CA. They do accept debit and credit card payments however, it's a good idea to have cash on hand as sometimes WIFI is spotty. There are no reservations. First come first served and it's not a large ferry; it can handle 14-15 vehicles so it's important to get there a little early to avoid missing the crossing you want.

Hourly service from 9 to 7 from Campobello Island to Deer Island. Very punctual.

Friends told us about this ferry and the one from Letete to Deer Island. Far better than staying on the highway especially in good weather. It was great to see the islands and waterways plus wildlife including sea birds, porpoises and a minke whale. Good value and good fun!

Great service. Service was on time. A short 30 min fast ferry. A bit expensive at 29$ for two and a vehicle each side. They don’t have same day return combo fare. Each side a 29$ I.e to enter and exit for two was 58$ which is a lot for just a 20 min ferry.

Nice trip.....water was wet!

The best way to travel, especially on a sunny day! We are very lucky to have the ferry running during the winter for the last few years. Campobello Island needs a year-round connection to mainland N.B.
