Hannam Supermarket

When it comes to Korean food, cooking ingredients, recipes and delicacies I will definitley recommend Hannam Supermarket here in BC. They have branches in North Road, Surrey, Robson St downtown vancouver and Langley. You can find a lot of great asian stuff here like rice, veggies, fresh meats, fish, noodles, fresh fruits, canned goods and a lot more. One also of my great find here are packed meals (just like japanese bento box). The store is clean, great people and staff and the price… not that bad…

Good food and prices. After 6 they have discounts for fresh cooked food. I didn't know that but cashier told me that when it was 5:58 and said we can wait 2 minutes. I appreciated that very much. Definitely will be coming back. Thanks to the cashier you get one costumer that will be coming to your shop again and again.

Their meat quality is disgusting. I bought ribeye here today. There were bits of black plastic all over the meat (transferred from packaging). While washing it off, I notice that each slice of meat was actually two slices glued together by meat glue. This is the most garbage quality meat I've ever bought for 31 dollars a kilo.진짜 개노양심 장사하시네요. 꼭 망하세요.

This place was the original korean grocer before Hmart came in. But their ability to stay in business and actually do well speaks volumes on how good their prices, services, and products are.One of the things that Hannam outshines Hmart in, is their insane sales. The only thing is, theyre a bit spontaneous so it's hard to gage what to prepare for and what to look for; for example, today, there was a whole box of orion custard for only 2.99.Their selection of foods and snacks are a touch more authentic in their cooking and are generous with affordable pricing.One of the worries that I had with two korean gorcers being across the street from one another was that they would carry the same products. Interestingly enough, overlapping isn't too bad and even if its the same food item, its often the next competing brand so there is a flavour variance.All in all, great store, can't recommend it enough.

Friendly staff. Well categorized sections for a variety of products that you cannot find ubiqutusly. Lots of exotic, unique products that are imported from Asia for reasonable pricing. Best of all, Hannam's deli section is one of the best deli in town - conveniently and deliciously prepared authentic Korean dishes.

Love this supermarket. You can get stuff that H-Mart and T&T don’t sell.Service is always good and promotions are usually better than other supermarkets.

I am very disappointed with the foods, especially the pickle.I stopped in for some kimbap, tteokbokki and pickle. To our surprise, the pickle has a hair in the corner, and I thought it was a small hair like from the eyebrow. However, the more I pulled it out, and it was getting longer and longer. I stopped, I didn't want to keep doing it. I lose my appetite even if I didn't want to eat the foods.No more food for me in this store.Maybe just for groceries.

One of the most popular grocery stores for Koreans in Vancouver. Great selection and sometimes great sales! Freshly made food is good too. Recommend their store made twisted donuts, korean fried chicken, korean blood sausage, and many more.

I have watched the evolution of this store over the last twenty years, and I must say, it is quite impressive how they have managed to stay relevant and upgrade their goods and services. Fantastic takeout in addition to the great variety of groceries. The widest range of Korean foods and ingredients in the lower mainland as far as I know. So, if you're feeling nostalgic, head on down!
