They hired people from labour ready to move you . These people that showed up never moved anyone before . The most senior person to pack the truck on the Friday was there 5 months . On the Monday another guy showed up to finish moving our stuff and never packed a truck with a guy from labour ready . It was a joke . Took 4 hours on the Monday to load master bedroom . I will never use them again . I would rent a u haul and go to labour ready and hire my own people at 12 hour . That's all they did . I have moved lots and never seen such a joke . It was worse move ever . I would have rather been hit by a car . So good luck if you use them . It's like your worst nightmare .

I would strongly recommend against hiring these people. The office staff has a huge attitude problem. When I called for movers to move my things to storage I was told that they do storage. What no one mentioned in any way is that it is not the type of storage that you can access. In the past I have rented a storage unit from another business close by and it was a wonderful experience. This however, was not. I didn't find out my things would be put in rickety crates until the movers had my things loaded on the truck. (the movers - 3 men and a truck? a division of Mohawk Moving I guess? were great - a little slow but they did the job.) There were numerous times when I talked to office staff by phone they were very very rude. When I was arranging to pick up my things (with a Uhaul) I was suddenly told about the pick up your things fee! Yes an additional fee to take my things out, because someone has to use the forklift. I said why wasn't I told about this before? The answer, You should have asked more questions." They also were not able to accommodate my retrieval on a Saturday

Booked a move several weeks in advance for an item.Multiple phone calls back and forth (I have the log reciepts ) regarding moving details.On day of move they show up1) wrong address2) over an hour early when no one was expecting the move as the time frame was 12-43) intial price was 200, then I get a call the night before where the receptionist rudely explains it's at least 500 or not worth their time.4) she refused to book or reschedule the move of item indefinitelyI would never recommend this company.

My move with Mohawk moving went as smoothly as a I could have asked for! The receptionist was extremely helpful, and answered all of my questions. The crew was friendly and professional, and arrived on time. My move was completed in the same time as estimated by the owner, and I had no damages. I will definitely use Mohawk in the future.

My husband and I decided to downsize. This company Mohawk Moving moved the people in who purchased our property. To be honest our moving company did not bring a big enough truck. The Mohawk moving driver showed up and we had not completed our move out. The Mohawk moving driver was obnoxious and wanted us to get out as soon as possible. I was there by myself and the driver was quite aggressive. He phoned his boss and a balding gentleman showed up shouting at me from the driveway that I was trespassing and that they were going to phone a lawyer and the police. I was told I should leave my belongings and get out by the owner or manager of Mohawk whoever he was. The new owners (Mohawks customers) of my home I was moving out of finally came and we worked together to get out as quickly as we could. They were amazing and hope they enjoy their new home. Mohawk Moving is a company that has lousy customer service and fails to understand that their aggressive behavior is not representative of what their customers want. As a Senior Executive in a company I would like to explain to Mohawk moving that your behavior to your customers and those involved in your customers transactions is reflective of your business. I will never recommend this business and as a matter of fact will tell everyone I know that they should not use this business. Shameful and disrespectful.

Receptionist was too stupid for words and did not even know that Bob was short for Robert. I had to google them just to find out that a Bob owns the place. She though because I called from my place of work that i was telemarketing but we are moving to brantford. Rob may think he is avoiding telemarketing calls by having her bitchily block the calls but in reality he just lost another customer. He should take calls that are addressed to him and fire her for being to nosey and rude for words, not to mention dumb.

Mohawk Moving moved us to our new home in June 2022. We contacted a few companies for quotes and this was the only one that sent someone in person to look at what we were moving. The receptionist, Amanda, was always helpful any time we called. They brought a massive transport truck to move our things and stored everything for us until we got possession of our new place. The crew showed up on time (actually, a bit early) and worked hard with few breaks. We purchased the extra insurance but luckily didn't need it, and got a 50% refund. All in all, a good experience.

I wouldn't even waste my time. I called Mohawk, hoping I could get someone to help me unload a storage container (POD) at my home. I originally called an spoke to a very nice receptionist that took down my information to send to their estimate individual. I hadn't heard anything for a few days, so I called back and the receptionist was so rude! I was told we are far to busy to waste guys on doing that". I was shocked! I will definitely be going with someone else

I would recommend not using Mohawk Movers for their moving services. My mother in law has a broken vas, angel and her only tv is warped. The truck was in a motor vehicle accident with a motorcycle on the way from home to home and only $50 was given to replace the items.
