Marcia is an incredible dog trainer!! She is extremely knowledgeable, very understanding, and not judgemental. Her classes and tips actually work and her training has made a huge difference on my dog’s behaviour and has helped me become a more confident dog owner. Her extensive background in canine behaviour, immense knowledge and experience working with many different dog breeds, patience and willingness to accommodate as best as she can, and ability to simplify and present lots of important information make her classes a perfect combination of theory and practice. If you’re looking for a dog trainer that will actually help, I cannot recommend Marcia enough!

As a first time puppy owner it was important that I found the right puppy class for Mady. I certainly found that at the Dog Nanny. As new dog owners to our boy Gus, he came to us full of terrier energy at 10 weeks old. We knew most definitely we needed some guidance when it came to understanding our dog and his behaviours. After each class homework was given which provided detailed notes and instructions to practice at home. 6 weeks later Gus is a different dog. Marcia is absolutely amazing and really knows her stuff! She was very patient, but still firm and was really great with the dogs. I love her approach to training and that it doesn’t include the use of equipment that may cause pain to the dog. Our dog has come such a long way since we’ve started implementing what Marcia has taught us and I couldn’t be happier. Her services are also very affordable, which make them much more accessible. She is also very personable, kind, and understanding to the dog owners, while still being straightforward about what the issue is and the possible solutions. The result is happy owners and happy dogs!

I have completed both puppy and intermediate classes with my puppy, Iggy. Marcia is extremely knowledgeable and provides a completely judgment free learning environment. Marcia not only teaches the what" but also explains the "why" behind it. These classes not only helped Iggy gain confidence

I did an online course through Zoom. Marcia was right on with all her information and explained the techniques in detail when needed. She has a wonderful attitude and knows her trade. I would recommend The Dog Nanny - Marcia - to anyone looking for logical answers and A1 results.

We just completed our 5 month old Morkie puppy’s puppy class. It was thoroughly enjoyable and Milo and I have both learned a lot! So much so that we’re signing up for another class with Marcia ( The Dog Nanny). Marcia is a marvelous teacher and it’s obvious that she’s extremely knowledgeable and loves what she does.
