Coast Capital - Guildford Branch

The worst customer service experience I have ever had at any coast capital EVER. I have been banking with Coast Capital for over 20 years and I have never seen a more unorganized, slow, and overall horrible customer service team, managers and supervisors included. I advise anyone who needs to go to a coast branch to instead go to the Fleetwood location instead. Seriously disgusting service.

incompetent employees handling your monies. its a good thing i moved almost all of my money out from Coast captial. As i leave this review, im still simply trying to stop a service but getting weeks worth of non responses, and even when im asking to get a hold of the manager. Lazy lazy lazy workers

Very very very poor customer service!! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Walked in, there was only 1 customer. At least 3 to 4 employees that could have greeted us with a “hello, we’ll be with you shortly”. Stood there as if I was invisible. IT TAKES 2-3 secs to acknowledge a customer. Walked out of there irritated.

A satisfactory banking experience, with the added bonus of free coffee! They aren't my first choice, since the checking and debit isn't as cheap (free) as president's choice, but having a branch with friendly staff makes up where the other is lacking.

Bad customer service, they had cancelled my appointment twice in 2 weeks for 1 joint account with my fiancé. I decided to go in after work an hour before closing to open the account they told me it takes an hour to open the account!! I’ve working in banking before and to open 1 account take 15-20 minutes. What sucks is me and my fiancé are existing customers and they still treated us like this. The assistant manager came by and tried to explain the “situation” for almost 30 minutes. Within the time she spent talking to us she could have opened the account.

I too am puzzled by the 1-star reviews for this branch, but then again yesterday was my first (and likely only) visit.I'm not a customer but was written a cheque by one of your customers that my own credit union refused to touch, but had no hassle with you guys, your staff verified the cheque was real and the account had the funds and I walked away happy. Your staff were friendly and enthusiastic and if I wasn't already entrenched in that other place I'd be seriously considering switching.Heh, but reading the complaints others have made, I see a pattern... don't rush my visit" and "don't spend so much time on the customers before me". I apologize to anyone waiting behind me who had to wait a few minutes longer while my little mystery got solved. :-)"

Word to the wise; have some discretion when engaging in small talk with them. It quickly turns awkward and then cringy... Also, have you ever noticed it's never busy there?

The absolute worst bank. Aside from one good employee, I've never had a good experience with them. I've been with them for years and they preach about helping their clients do well financially but they never do anything to actually help you. I am going to close my account and go elsewhere. Why would I give my business to a place who doesn't practice what they preach.

I left TD today after 19 years to specifically only deal with C.C.S. The branch hours could be improved (open later) for those who have to work later. Most of the time it’s a pleasant experience. ABM are in good working order and tellers are nice.There was one experience earlier this year that struck me as not customer friendly; there was a long long line on a Thursday evening. It went into the ABM Corridor - we had been waiting for 10-15mins me and 3 other people. A female teller came out rudely and said we’re closed. Didn’t take us in or bother to ask what we needed help with. She could of locked the main doors and got everyone through. The bank will lock its doors with 5-10mins before it actually closes.The tellers need to speed up the process or they need more tellers. Most of its clients work jobs that go past 430/5 so to only be open until 5pm is a bit absurd as the world is opening back up.Other than this 1 incident I love this bank and the services they offer.
