Owners are lovely. They inherited a bit of a project, but you can tell they're working hard to improve the campground, which is older and does need some work. The atmosphere is great, activities planned (such as a nice little dance, kid friendly stuff, good to see it coming to life!). We're really looking forward to going back and seeing it in the future!

LaHave River Campground
This campground is hands down the best campground in the province. I stayed for two nights and enjoyed myself so much. From floating down the River to handing out candy for the Halloween themed weekend. My site won the decorating contest. It was so much fun. The owners are fabulous. You can tell they are really involved in making your stay a great one. I’m hoping to become seasonal next year!!!!! Well done !!!!! See ya again soon.

Jamie Lee, Kalen and Tundra,Thank you so much for hosting me, my brother and his friends this weekend. From check-in when we first arrived to seeing us off 2 days later, you were all so welcoming and kind. We loved our set of rented lots that allowed for us to play washer toss, have a bonfire and enjoy the calming sounds of the Lahave just meters away from our lot.You can tell your campground is special - we walked around one evening and were amazed at how many warm welcomes and waves we had from other campers - many who self identified as seasonal regulars! It didn’t surprise us one bit to hear that. We will certainly be back to enjoy this amazing place in the future as well. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much again.

LaHave River Campground
Great campsite! We booked a serviced site to be close to friends that have a seasonal camper and it was amazing. We hung Christmas lights up and used our kettle. The site was clean and mostly level for our tent. Swimming area on the river was close by and our kids REALLY enjoyed the mini putt and the pool table. The carnival themed activities on Saturday were super fun for the kids. We also enjoyed the live music that night. Most kids had bicycles and biked around the campground which is fantastic. They also liked the playground. We appreciated how clean the bathrooms were (thank you!) and enjoyed the delicious ice cream at the store. This is a fantastic campground for families. We'll definitely book there again!

LaHave River Campground
We had the pleasure of staying at LaHave River Campground this past week. We were very impressed with Kalen accommodating our requests. I was travelling with my hubby as well as sister and her hubby and we were able to set up beside each other. They also reorganized so we could stay an extra night. It is clean, lots of amenities to enjoy and a really friendly atmosphere.

LaHave River Campground
We just completed our tenth season at LaHave River Campground and our first season with the campground being under new ownership. Reflecting back over this season it was a very relaxing, refreshing experience. There were many events for children, families and adults, all of which were fun and successful. The seasonal campers had the pleasure of meeting many weekend campers, man y of which would like to become seasonal. The new owners are very inviting to all who arrive at this little hideaway gem and encourage all to return. It is a great place to just relax, go for walks, river swimming, sit around a campfire or even take part in the many activities. I'm sure once you have visited LaHave River Campground you will want to make plans to return.

Great site! Lots of activities. New owners are making some great changes and open to new ideas and suggestions! Super friendly and very accommodating. Swimming hole was awesome and very easy to access. VERY pet friendly (quite a few other campers have pets there with them). Mini golf was fun (we actually played twice). Horse shoes, washer toss, games room - all fun. Enjoyed it so much we booked another stay for September!

Lovely spot to camp. Owners are wonderful and very friendly. Campground and washrooms are clean. Sites are well maintained. We especially loved the lazy river and will be bringing our tubes with us next time. Great family camping experience.

LaHave River Campground
We enjoyed 2 nights at this beautiful, fun, and friendly campground! The owners, as well as all campers, were very welcoming and helpful. There are lots of activities to take part in and well as trails to hike, a place to swim, and nearby Indian Falls to visit. Our site #48 was very quiet and backed onto the River which we really enjoyed. The new owners have done a great job and definitely have the right personalities for running a campground. We will definitely be back again!!
