Have a piece with shattered antique glass. The owner was very helpful, accepted a glass sample by mail and researched a comparable glass replacement. Ultimately she recommended I try a stained glass professional. I really appreciate the follow through and creative suggestion to keep the integrity of the piece even though it was ultimately not something they could provide. Will definitely come back for other projects.

Had my husband's great-grandmother's table refinished and they did a great job! We had them do a black stain and it turned out awesome. Very nice and very professional.

After purchasing (4) unusual chairs, the next task was finding someone to upholster them. After contacting 3 different professionals, Betty was the only person to respond. After viewing the chairs, she was up for the task, and her confidence in the challenge was more than comforting! Finding the appropriate fabric proved to be a challenge, but Betty reached out to her network of professional upholsters, and found the fabric that was needed. From beginning to end, Betty took on the challenge, knocked it out the park, and got the job done! The before and after pictures speak for themselves. I inherited my grandmother’s grandfather 1940’s grandfather clock. It had some color bleaching on the front. Recently my dogs knocked it over and busted out the glass, did some damage to the wood on the top and busted the back. I received a quote for $1500 and a repair time of 6 months - which did not include replacing the glass. Foxwood did not recommend refinishing but instead used a different technique to correct the coloring. They repaired the wood and replaced the glass. It was less than half of the quote I had received, and they did it in 60 days. The repair looks amazing! My grandmother would be incredibly happy. Thank-you!!

I had two Windsor chairs from prior generations in my family that were over 200 years old. Unfortunately they were in about 6 pieces with loose and broken spindles and I had hoped they could somehow be restored again. I took them to Foxwood Restoration in Brighton, Michigan and was happy that they have the ability to bring these back to life. Thank you Foxwood for an excellent job!

In early 6/2018 I took my 17 year old solid oak Amish built kitchen table and 4 chairs in for refinishing. It had some scratches, nicks and wear marks along the edges. We wanted to keep it the same color and the legs were fine so only the table top, and seats/backs of the chairs were to be refinished. Estimated time was 10 weeks after which time I started to call/email for status. We finally got them back in early October. The color came out a little lighter and I was fine with it until I saw that the tops of the chair spindles were still the old darker color but the rest was light. We declined the offer to return them for corrections because it had already taken 4 months and we lost confidence that it would be completed timely or correctly. But we were satisfied that the charge for the chairs was waived. The table top looked ok and I was not going to comment on this business. Unfortunately, here we are not quite 8 months later and I have to have my table refinished again. It has multiple water rings and white marks from hot food on plates (not hot plates) placed on the table. This never happened in the previous 17 years of constant use. Clearly, a protective finish as was on before was never done. I would not recommend them for refinishing.

Betty was great to work with! This is the second time that I have had tables restored by Foxwood Restorations. The quality of Betty's work is excellent. She carefully covered the tables with clear wrap and helped me lift the furniture into my car. I am extremely pleased with my experience at Foxwood Restorations.

We had a great experience with Foxwood Restoration. We had to restore and re-upholster an antique sofa which needed a lot of careful work. I contacted a number of restorers in the area, but Foxwood was by far the most responsive. Betty came in a matter of days to my house to check the sofa, arranged for the pick-up and later delivery, kept me updated on their work, and did a fantastic job. The sofa is beautiful, comfortable, and ready now to whitstand the next decades of life in our house.
