very rude and terrible service.when i asked for help with sizes cause i wasnt sure the sales lady was like very rude and didnt want to help and kinda shoved me.

I specifically went in to this place to buy some scarves.When I first walked in, there were 3–4 women standing behind the cash register area and talking to each other not one of them acknowledged my presence or said hello.When I got closer to the back of the store ( near the scarves) one of the older ladies looked over at me and then looks away. Still, says nothing.I then went shopping around the mall to see if any other store carried the item I was looking for or had a better deal.I walked into this store 3 times in the few hours I was at the mall shopping to compare prices and styles. All 3 times none of the women acknowledged my presence or said anything to me or offered help.They were all just behind the cash register talking leisurely.The last time I walked in and was looking at their inventory something very interesting happened.2 Caucasian women with babies in strollers walked in and as soon as they did the one lady that looked in my direction earlier and said nothing - said in a loud voice to these 2 women “ Hi Ladies! How are you today?” .Her tone and manner completely changed as these women walked in.Also for reference, I’m a young brown women. I’m not claiming this women working at this Laura did this on purpose- refusing to help or acknowledge me and being very friendly to the Caucasian women. However, this is an incident that happened at this location and the facts are there. I felt discriminated against and hope no one else has to feel how I did that day.The funny thing is I came in to that store specifically to drop money , guess they didn’t want it. LOL“ Don’t you work on commission? Big mistake, HUGE.”

Absolutely terrible customer service, will accuse you of wrong doings and make you feel DISCRIMINATED.Went with my mom to buy a dress. Called ahead to put it on hold, tried it in store, and purchased it with the sales rep Annette more focused on getting our email/customer info than about the return policy because we said we were unsure.My mom came to return the dress and was accused of trying to return it at 3 other locations, and was not allowed to return the dress because of a missing tag and saying it LOOKED WORN - based on loose stitching already on all dresses.When in fact, it was in my room the whole time and was never touched in our home. We were not aware of any tag missing because when we purchased it the cashier looked over the dress and would have explained the return policy but did not, only asked for our information, when we explained that my mom is retired and does not live in this country.After 8 years of being in retail customer service myself, it was absolutely terrible customer service, not only not explaining the entire return policy, but to assume a customer of a fraud act. Disgusting.

Went into Laura Oshawa Town Center to find a dress for a summer wedding.The sales person suggested this dress and I absolutely love it!Laura is not a store I would typically visit however they have a few great pieces that appeal to a younger-ish group.The staff acknowledged me, were courteous and super helpful. They didn’t judge me in my grudge wear like another store that day. They weren’t pushy and I really appreciate their customer service.Thank you and I’ll be back! ☺️Ouuuu!! The person who assisted me was Elaine Hylton.Go see her! She’s fabulous!Actually, they all are!

Went in looking to purchase a mother of the groom dress. No one spoke to me or offered to help when I was clearly looking at the occasion dresses. I find the staff very snobby.Found my dress in another store where the staff were friendly and helpful.

With age, my body is changing and It looks that the cloth does not fit as it was before.Laura has always being the store where I find good quality clothing.I have being in the store this week and the sales ladies, Rita was one of them, had the patience of bring me several styles to try to fit my new body.I will always go back to my favourite store

The clothing is great! Can't say the same about SOME staff!! I felt I was inconveniencing them when trying to make a decision on purchasing items. Please don't do that! Not only is it disrespectful BUT you/they are forgetting that I am the CUSTOMER! Without me/us their is NO store or a job for you/them. Not sure if I will shop in this store, AGAIN! That's how bad I felt!!

Poor quality stitching for an expensive price. No sympathy whatsover for the customer experience. Simply put, they don't care. $300 for a winter coat that already has a hole. I put the coat on and removed the fabric freshener from the pocket, only to discover a big hole. However, once it's been worn you can't return it. That's their policy for poorly stitched clothing. For that price, I expected better, and now I'm stuck with this coat. I will never shop there again. How else would you discover a hole in the pocket without removing the freshener when you wear it. I didn't know I had to check details like that, while I am still in the store, until now. Clearly their staff doesn't check, and their manufacturer doesn't have quality control. Instead they have a seamstress to stitch their mistakes. Well I've never heard of that before. I suppose they would need one with their policy and poor craftsmanship combined. For $300, I could EASILY find better quality with a store that has more integrity. Never again will I think they know what they are talking about. Never again will I think their clothing is good quality. First sales lady was nice. This one was cold and unsympathetic to the fact I am stuck with a damaged product. Policy or not, as a customer herself, at least being sympathetic to the situation is important whether you have the ability to change it or not. Poor poor customer service Oshawa Centre. Rating of absolute $0. No more money from me! Or my family.
