We cancelled our service, which was a frustrating and time consuming process due to delayed responses and poor communication. They up charged us on our final invoice which we disputed. They agreed to correct the final invoice, but then charged my visa twice, for the original invoice with the overcharged amount and the corrected invoice. They said they would refund the visa for the double charge, but it has been 9 days and the refund has not shown up. They say that the issue is resolved and will close my account. From reading multiple reviews, it seems Iron Mountain has a history of treating their customers poorly and fraudulently.

This company desperately needs to get their act together. Its a nightmare dealing with them. Out of the 7 times I have called, only once was I pleased with the service. Their agents don't know how to access your order history, advise you on any up-coming scheduled services, bill you for services you never used, or double charge you on quantities. On the contrary, the delivery/service technicians are wonderful and pleasant. Too bad the company is so out-dated and unorganized!!!!

the good: Nothing....the Bad: after repeated bills that where double what our agreement stated. I spent a lot of time on hold to get the invoices corrected. So I cancelled our service. Because the last pick up was now out of our service agreement time, due to cancelation, they charged double for the final pickup. I am still waiting for the final invoice. I can't access my account to get a copy, because of course my account is now closed. Also they forgot to pickup the bin and i have not been able to get them to pick it up from my business.I am beyond frustrated. Needs minus stars.

I would strongly recommend not using them for mobile shredding service......very complicated onboarding process, slow response from the scheduling team [read I had to call them again], got service date with arrival before 5 pm, meaning you have to wait around the whole day.......called repeatedly to get smaller window and promised someone would call back.....no callback.....waited until 5 pm and the driver was a no show!!! The whole day was wasted! Called again to find out what happened and was told that driver cancelled the service and was going to come the next day......I was not even going to be at the location that day, and they never bothered to call........I cancelled service and went with a local outfit. Also, even cancelling is a hassle!

Very painful experience. Took us 6 months to get Iron Mountain to stop charging use $160/month storage for documents that had been destroyed. Sent them the email from their staff member confirming the destruction - lots of back and forth with customer service person in the eastern US somewhere. Moved to a local company with great ratings and much cheaper
