Travis at Petland was absolutely amazing. We drove from Terrace to Prince George, to buy a cockatiel. He answered all of our questions with excitement and enthusiasm. Helped us get all the necessities and we are heading home with not 1 but 2 new family members. He is definitely the guy to help you with all your pet needs.

I have been going to Petland on and off for several years. Just recently became an aquarium owner; and have purchased almost all of my supplies here. In addition to the large selection of aquatic needs, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I recommend going here.

It's a good place but the combo of fish my sister-in-law bought ended up killing each other. I suppose you will just have to do your own research before buying because they will not stop you from buying a bad combo.

Update: We recently purchased a kitten for my daughter, they made her feel so special, and helped us pick out a harness and accessories. Just can't rave enough about the awesome staff and how wonderful they are, we love our new kitten and everything was included in the adoption. Thanks Petland!The Manager and staff are absolutely phenomenal! The numerous times my daughter and I have been in for pet supplies, or just to visit the animals, they are attentive, helpful and informative. I highly recommend Petland Prince George!

We mainly go there for healthier options for our cats and their food. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. It has a great selection for dogs, and a minimal selection for cats and other animals aside from fish, but overall, it has the basic needs for your pets.

Love how they look after this store but the prices are out to lunch on most of their products, aside from the fish Wich I originally thought were expensive, I come to realise the price on them is worth it due to the health and guarantee of the fish . But if your going to buy a bird look somewhere else the price of birds is pretty much double or more of any other place .
