The Alley is one of our go to bubble tea places. We are here at least twice a week. We been going to the Midland location since they have opened. The Alley in general is a great spot if you are looking for great tasting quality teas. The service at the Midland location is always friendly. The staff is always welcoming, even when they get very busy.We usually order ahead on the app for pickup and they always recognize us when we come in.They a little bit of seating if you want to sit in and chat with friends.Overall a great consistent bubble tea spot.(I hope one day they bring back coffee jelly. Coffee jelly with Royal 9 was my all time fave.)

This location has one of the best setup I have ever seen in any bubble tea locations. The setup just ticks all the boxes for me for a good night to come and have a drink and spend the evening. There is a wide variety of drinks to try. I had the strawberry shortcake and chainsaw man red grape drink as they seemed to be on limited time promotion. I usually prefer sweet but the shortcake seemed off balance for me (came out too strong) (next time I would try asking for less sweet on this one) but the grape flavoured drink was just right. There are a load of other varieties to try. Overall: Very Good

Nice chills atmosphere to enjoy a cup of bubble tea with my buddy. A nice local dispensary for a quick sugar stop. Deeroica Fever fills in my craving :)

Cute and busy bubble tea place:) We came in and saw the sign that their specialty deerioca batch was just made, so we ordered one of those, and also ordered white peach oolong with added tapioca topping. The person who took our order took time to help us make a choice. They forgot to add tapioca to my drink, but fixed it quickly after I had brought it back. I should mention though that the oolong was very strong, so though had “regular sugar” still tasted a bit bitter, which I personally liked. The deerioca matcha was a very sweet drink, as duly explained by the staff. I am posting a receipt for an idea about their prices.

First time to this location on a Friday lunch. It wasn't busy. The lady at the cashier is very attentive and detail in explaining the teas so the line was a little bit slow. She gave us a sample first and then introduce the tea so each customer took at least a few minutes. I suggest to do the tea sample separately so the line can go faster. We ordered two Royal No. 9 and an Iron Goddess. We were a little bit disappointed with Royal No. 9 as we felt it's a bit water down compare to other locations that we have tried. We all three felt the same way unfortunately. The Iron Goddess ordered by my friend was good though.The interior is a nice industrial style with wood furniture complemented by exposed brick wall and tree. The whole atmosphere is very relax.The location is convenient at Midland and Finch so I guess I will come here more often.

The drinks are really good but if you have any allergies/sensitivities this store will not modify their drinks. For example, I tried to order the crunchy tiramisu without tapioca as i cannot digest tapioca they said they HAVE to add it to their drink. I didn't see it as a big removal, but other bubble tea stores have no problem respecting allergies.

Royal #9 is my favourite drink and I always get it from the alley. The bubble tea here is made with fresh tea leaves and the perfect amount of sweetness. The royal #9, is always refreshing and delicious. The Alley is my favourite bubble tea place because they always make the perfect cup of tea and I always leave feeling satisfied.

We went to The Alley on Midland on a weekend afternoon time and got a Large Jasmine Green Milk Tea ($6.25). The milk tea was overall not bad, you can taste the tea flavour. The aesthetics of the store was super nice with a big tree, some Hogwarts-like decorations (pretty much just the 9 3/4 sign), the staff were nice to give us a to-go menu.The staff weren’t too talkative, we tried talking but they didn’t respond much. The drink was made incredibly fast since there was no one else in there. The deerioca drinks are small and expensive, not sure if those are worth it but this one was big so we think it was worth it.

Great aesthetic. Speaking both for the store as well as the beverages. They have a good selection of drinks and of course have their signature drinks as well.I got both their deeritopica(?) Which came in one size as well as their morning dawn beverage. Both tasted great, nothing 'amazing' but definitely good. If you venture to multiple differing boba locations and arnt just visiting your typical chatime and realfruit then I'm sure you'll be impressed.This is one of those stores that you appreciate due to them having fun with boba and creating different experiences with them rather than your typical milk tea, taro slush and mango slush that I'm sure alot of you may have as your safety drinks.The prices are comparable to other places so you wont feel as though it wasn't worth it " due to the size/price ratio.They are a small store so be open minded to no available seats and for a long queue.Overall a great boba place
