Went for valentines day. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was chic, yet coxy. The two of us shared the babaganoush, roz asfar and the Shish Tawook sharing plate. The service was excellent, the servers went out of their way to make sure my allergies were accommodated (gluten and dairy) and even gave us a special dessert for the occasion on the house. Highly recommend for a romantic evening.

Overall a very disappointing experience as I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday at Fairouz. We did the tasting menu and as we were five people, the server supposedly added a fifth portion. To me it looked like we got the same menu as every other table without a fifth portion added, which I think is a bit of a deception. The service was extremely awkward and slow. It took at least 30 minutes for the dips to come from the time of ordering and then another 30 minutes for the chicken and fish to arrive. There was also one flat bread which was fine, but for the price I think another side would've been appropriate. The food was alright but definitely not worth it given it was 67$ a person. In total, dinner was almost three hours.... Too long. That's not to mention the obscenely expensive beer. 14$ for a pint?! Like wow, that's nuts. There was also no music playing for a good part of the evening making the restaurant eerily quiet throughout the meal.It was not a good experience and I won't be back.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is great! Has a cozy feel and lovely decor. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable.I was a little disappointed with the shish taouk - it tasted and looked like a rotisserie chicken rather than the traditional spices of shish taouk but still tasted amazing. It is served on a bed of tabbouleh which was delicious too I wish they put more of it!The deconstructed muhammara was great too.

Decided to come enjoy their weekend brunch which is fairly a new addition to their menu. Firstly, the ambiance early morning was very calming. Though located in byward market, this restaurant is a steps away from the busy parts. The restaurant itself has an outdoor patio & 2 different dinning areas. One seems to be more vibrant in colour the other room is dark interior with mood lighting. The brunch menu was a fusion of Turkish and parts of Middle East. Here is what enjoyed:Muhamara was our favourite, the perfect blend of cashew and red peppers.Stuffed Grape leaves were alright.Lubneh with Dukkah beats was tasty. The beets added a rich flavour to the yogurt dish.Beef lahmoujoun, the mint/dill sauce it was paired with was absolutely delicious.Turkish Egg, poached eggs with labneh. It was good but eventually the flavour of yogurt was too empowering & it needed a something to balance. I ended up mixing muhamara with it.Shakshuka, this was alright.Black seed pancakes, this was a savoury item served with tabouli. This was probably the least favourite on the table. The flavour was bland.Overall, the experience was good. The service was great! Our food arrived in a timely manner. The server did a great job at examining the menu.

Good:The place is clean, aesthetically pleasing and very well put together, the ambience is nice and it's a nice place to be at. Service was really good, however I'd expect the waitress to do a little more such as offering suggestions and explaining dishes since this is a fine dining establishment. For context, we arrived on a Sunday night, with maybe 6 other tables seated at an avg of 4 customers per table.Bad: The foodStuffed Grape Vines: the rice was undercooked and had a crunch to it. That's unacceptable really. The flavor was good.Beef kebab: the meat is tender, however it's cooked to a medium rare which is unusual for middle eastern"

Enjoyed a very good Sunday brunch from the visa infinite dinner series here. Wine pairings were excellently selected. Food was delicious with good serving sizes.

I took my parents and my brother here for dinner and we were all very pleased! There were a large variety of dishes to choose from (all which looked delicious) but we ended up trying 4 dips, 2 mains and 1 side. This was for 4 of us and it was a perfect amount, if anything a little bit too much. All of dishes were full of flavour and perfectly balanced a variety of different tastes. Wonderful experience for my tastebuds.Service was quite good too! It was a little slow and the main dishes took a little longer than expected to come out but oh, so very worth the wait.Obviously a bit on the pricier side but I guess that could be expected for a fine dining establishment downtown.Overall, lovely experience. Will definitely return.

Had dinner here recently with a friend who is a huge foodie, we were both generally impressed with the quality of the food and the ambiance but menu lacked options. Starters were a little under whelming, Main and dessert were the two best parts. See photos for more details, overall I would return here mostly because the service was excellent and the ambiance was awesome
