brought my bike to the shop for service. Phil went above and beyond my experiences at other shops patiently answering my questions with detailed explanations and doing quality work. i will be a returning customer and strongly recommend this shop.

Tried to call them to book an appt and was directed to contact them via email. They didn't reply to my first email, after 2nd email a week later they responded asking me what kind of type of bike and what I needed done. I provided a picture of my bike and what was required. I requested an appt date. They never got back to me.I decided to call another bike shop close by and was immediately served. I know it is covid-19 but you have to at least maintain a certain level of quality service. They didn't. I don't like leaving bad reviews but they kind of deserve it. I was in no rush and did not demand anything. I just wanted to book an appt so they could tune up my bike. I don't recommend them.Follow-up: You didn't provide the minimal level of service, period. There is no defaming. You just had to say you were too busy or simply give me an appt date of 2-4 weeks down the road. All you had to do is provide good communication and I would understand. Instead, you simply ignored me. Instead of accepting your shortcomings and stating that you will do better in the future, you claim that I am defaming you. Anyone reading your reply will see through you. Just man up, this slipped through the crack and you will work to be better in the future. Learn to accept it and improve moving forward.

I've dropped by a couple times and the staff are so friendly and knowledgable, Great atmosphere and always willing to help. Pointed me in the right direction for which parts I would need and they were right, my bike feels great now. Thanks again!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful, seamless experience I had with Tout Terrain Bicycle. Nick and the crew are the most knowledgeable, honest bike vendors I have ever come across. They were able to identify my needs immediately, fit me with the correct bike for my needs (riding with my toddler) and supply all the required accessories for safe biking. Picked up a Devinci bike, a Copilot seat for my son, a helmet and lights.I took my son out for a ride yesterday and it was the first time I had the opportunity to actually try my new bike. It was unbelievable. My son had an absolute blast riding along the canal and was very secure in his new seat. There are not many things as satisfying as a new bicycle that runs flawlessly, and it’s all thanks to Nick and the crew. They went above and beyond my expectations. If you need a new bike, or some repairs or a tune-up (Their techs are masters), head over to their well stocked shop on Van Horne, you will NOT be disappointed.Thanks so much for the great service gentlemen!

Phil and Nick are awesome. What great customer service and attitude. Both my bikes were greatly repaired and ready to hit the road. It is great to have them in the area. Don’t hesitate to bring your bikes for repair or buy a new one from them.

I brought my cycle cross bike in for some adjustments and repairs. Phil did a great job with the bike and it rides like new now. Phil also showed me a few tips to keep things running smooth. It’s nice to have a good local shop in the neighborhood. Let's keep them employed :)

Dropped in ‘by accident’ as my partner needed air. A quick conversation with Nick showed he really knows his stuff and cares about quality / price and customer experience. I had been looking for specific shoes and he had exactly what I wanted (better than I was looking for) and rather than up-sell some new pedals explained why you would want each type and ultimately I got much cheaper than I would have chosen on my own. Plus he gave the bike a quick once over and fixed up a few things I hadn’t even noticed were loose.Heard him dealing with next customer and he was again incredibly good / helpful and not just trying to do a quick sale.Would 100% recommend!!!

Best bike shop in Montreal for mountain bikers! Phil was somehow able to conjure up the random assortment of small parts I was looking for AND just happened to have the exact bike I've been drooling over the past few months. Don't let the small size fool you, these guys are really well equipped and total pros.
