Food was bland, no salt and spice. Amritsari potato and paneer kulcha's had very less filling and were dry and tasteless. Chana had no salt and spices. Chat papdi did not taste well and was soggy. Its carry on and not proper dine in restaurant with plates and service, so appropriate for take away or delivery as they give food in carry boxes.

The price posted in the shelf and the price they charge not the same. I bought Taj tea, the price on Shelf was $7.99 and I was charged $9.99. When I sought clarification they said sorry thats it and they were not willing to return $2.00. This is repeating for second time. Never leave the store without asking for receipt and cross verifying the price. If they are concerned about customers and value that we bring in and the money we pay, they should not have done this. I am not going to this store again.

One of the best south asian superstore in town. What you need? You can get almost everything in here. The best part os price is reasonable like walmart. The owner is so kind and helpful. They have a huge collection of indian goods as well Bangladeshi and Pakistani grocery of daily need. Such as: paratha, Naan, Singara, Samosa, Jelebi, Pakora and so on. You’ll never get cheated or anything. I love this shop. And suggested to everyone.

For Aisan people its nice store in Canada and especially in Halifax but their pricing system of some specific product is higher than Online service such as Amazon and other provider.Example: Casserol Pot Stainless Steel body and Lid (Import from India) 28CM price is 79$ Excluded tax & 24" CM 59$ Excluded Tax where Amazone selling Glass lid and stainless steel Pot from (45.99$ to 65$ +-) included tax 26"/28" CM or bigger than this size by many sellers."

Good for Indian Tastes Grocery, but as per trend in Halifax Indian Grocery stores they charges high.Most items are available.

It's the best Indian grocery store in halifax. You can find everything here, even if it's not available if we will tell them they'll get it for us. And I found the prices here are comparatively less than other Indian groceries around halifax.

They have a lot of Indian groceries, all kinds of packed food. For a small town guy, this store is big for INDIAN GROCERIES .They could bring in more vegetables though.They have fish, huge FROZEN INDAIN fish , I love it.The Staff is very helpful and welcoming.

It is claimed that they don’t have a refund option. So beware, if you change your mind even 30 seconds after order, they will simply say, there is no option to refund on there machines. Food used to be good, but its all downhill now.

Be aware of buying food products from this store. I brought 4 snack packs from the store today and 3 of them were already expired. When I tried to return the items they did not even care about it. However this is not the first time, few months back I purchased rice from this shop and there were worms and mites in it. When we checked the store while returning the item most of the rice were in same condition. Then i thought it was an accident. But now i think this is what happens there most of the time. Looks like they are completely ignoring the food quality assurance and this is not acceptable. This is clearly a matter of ignorance that could even legally impact them. So please make sure you check the quality of foods that you buy from this store and i am not going back to this store again. Hopefully in the future they change their attitudes.

They make good food and are awesome when it comes to taste of the food. I love the people there but the only reason why I rate them low is the time they take to prepare one single thing you order. I have been there 30 times and no time they let me walk out of the store in 30 minutes of ordering food. I Request to the owner to keep more staff available to meet the needs of business! Thanks you
