Kickit Dance Studio Island Lakes

I had the pleasure of taking the New Adult Fitness Class with Mr. Tyrell and it was ridiculously fun! He was an amazing instructor who made us laugh and made us brave enough to want to push out of our comfort zones so we could harness our inner JLo's!! The facilities were very clean and the staff welcoming and they make you feel extremely comfortable! I definitely recommend this Dance Studio!

My daughter has been dancing at Kick It for 2 years and LOVES it! At a recent bring a friend week, my daughter brought her cousin, who got hooked and is now taking a class at Kick IT, and loving it also. It is an extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The office staff and very helpful and always willing to answer any questions I have. The teachers are positive, friendly and very knowledgeable in their field! The facility is clean and bright. I would recommend this dance studio to all dancers, beginners to competitive. A very professional dance studio with a homey feel.

I moved my daughter to Kickit this year primarily for cost and scheduling reasons. Kickit is more affordable than other studios and their scheduling makes sense so I am not at the studio everyday of the week. The studio itself is easy to access and I can watch my daughter in her dance classes. My daughter has made some great friends and she loves her teachers. She loves that the teachers at Kickit focus on everyone equally and I love how the teachers encourage the girls to work as a team. We are both very happy at Kickit .

We have been part of the Kickit Island Lakes dance studio for three years now. Our entire experience has been nothing but positive. The teachers are caring and knowledgeable and always demonstrate passion for their craft and the students. Every time we walk into the studio, we feel supported and at home. I was reluctant to enrol my daughter in another year of dance due to the unacceptable experiences of the prior year (which was at an apparent “good” dance school at Sage Creek). However my child wanted to continue dance and so I did more research and I found Kickit. Everything that I found unacceptable at the previous school at Sage Creek was exemplary at Kickit right from the start.First, the communication was timely and detailed. From my initial enquiries, to class information, to costumes, to year-end recital. The right of amount of information delivered in a timely manner. No delays or repeated phone calls and emails required in order to get answers or find out information as per the other school.Second, ordering costumes was seamless. The school took accountability in measuring the students and once costumes were received they took accountability for the fit. The price point was reasonable for the 2/3 minute recital performance and were absolutely adorable.Third, the teacher treated all the children with respect. I didn’t notice any favouritism and more importantly neither did my child.Fourth, though I had reservations on volunteering at the year-end recital due to the harassment experienced at the other school the parents of my child’s class asked if I would, so I did. Kickit is such a reputable school – incredibly professional – and the running of the year-end recital exemplifies this. All the volunteer information was communicated a week before the recital so expectations were known in advance and there was time for any questions to be addressed. The parents volunteering and staff members were incredibly respectful and courteous. I cannot speak well-enough about Kickit.I would highly recommend Kickit Island Lakes! There is no question that this school respects their dancers, their parents and is incredibly professional! Congratulations Kickit for running such an amazing dance studio! I am thrilled that we found you and look forward to continuing dance with such an incredibly talented and professional team!

I took a Dance fitness class there with my sister and a few girlfriends and we had an absolute blast. Tyrell was amazing - his energy was contagious. We worked our way thru the routine and channeled our inner Beyonce's! It was very reasonably priced. The facility was clean and all the other instructors were encouraging and friendly. Great place!

We switched dance studios this year and we are so happy with our decision for so many reasons...ample parking, very well laid out floor plan, etc...Each studio has a large viewing window so I can watch my daughter dance. The change rooms have lots of room, lockers and hooks, water fountain, the front entrance is spacious (so we aren’t tripping over shoes when we walk in). I asked my daughter what she likes best about her new studio and she says the teachers—and I can’t agree more. There is a teacher and an assistant for every class...so my daughter gets the attention she needs. The staff is friendly, patient and efficient. I love that I can ask any question, my daughter feels comfortable to ask questions and my emails are returned in a timely manner. The only thing I would have done differently is joined sooner

Our kids danced there last year, we did not like how teachers were treating kids and we spoke to owner but they just brushed it off. We have switched dance studios to another one in st.vital and our kids are much happier now.

We have seen our nieces dance here for years, I am blown away by the friendliness of staff and the quality of dancing! I highly recommend this studio!
