Église catholique Saint-Luc (St. Luke's Parish) is a beautiful architecture of worship and spiritual ambience. The interior holds a modern vaulted ceiling creating a light-filled canopy above the sanctuary. While the nave is filled with the warmth of wood seated beneath an airy space extending towards the pulpit in view of the pastor. Many thanks to Father Francis Bégin for his spiritual kindness for our dearly departed.

Really a beautiful church, I’m not talking about the architecture (although it is a nice example of a modern church building). The people truly are very welcoming and mass on Sunday mornings is quite beautiful, with a vibrant and talented youth choir, involved parishioners and inspired homilies.

My father wanted his funeral service to be held at St-Luc's church. The church he attended hundreds of times in his life. We, of course, honored his wishes.The service was bilingual, and was live broadcast on youtube so that his relatives who could not come could still watch. They had access to a lovely singer, Kathleen Bolton, who sang during the mass. Father Montpetit was warm and compassionate and delivered a very good mass in two languages. The church itself is beautiful and distinct.Thanks to all of you for helping us say goodbye.
