A very elegant restaurant in the heart of Montreal. I went for brunch and the place was already packed and people were waiting in line to get in. The hostess was quick to assign our seats. The waiter was energetic and kind. We ordered the smoked salmon toast and the endless summer breakfast to share. Presentation 10/10, taste 9/10. It was simple yet so good. Everything was well seasoned and dressed. Loved it.Can't wait to go again and try the rest of the menu.

My sister and I flew into Montreal and stopped here for brunch. I was so happy to stumble on this place because the service, drinks, and dishes were incredible. Highly recommend the endless summer breakfast; and viva la pasta. What a beautiful atmosphere - will come back every time I am in Montreal :)

Dandy in Montreal is a must-visit brunch spot for anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience. Although the place was packed when I visited, I was lucky enough to snag a table for two on a walk-in. The service was impeccable from start to finish, with attentive staff - our server was never too far and was quick to answer questions and tidy the table.As for the food, I think it was some of the best brunch I've ever had, or at least my favorite on this week-long trip to Montreal. I had the crispy smashed fingerling potatoes, mushroom toast, and buttermilk fried chicken.Beyond the food, the interior design of Dandy is absolutely stunning. The warm, modern decor is sure to impress even the most discerning of diners. I found myself constantly snapping pictures and marveling at the beauty of the space.The one downside to Dandy is that the prices for some of the menu items are quite high. At $7 for three pieces of bacon on the side, the costs can add up quickly.Overall, I would highly recommend Dandy to anyone looking for a top-notch brunch experience in Montreal. Just be prepared to pay a premium for the privilege.

Paid 40$ for the fried chicken sandwich with a side of fingerlings potatoes and a drink. Saw great reviews and beautiful pictures, however, I consider it as a tourist trap in the old port. Very pricey for what it is and overrated place. Yes, I enjoyed my fried chicken, but my friend didn’t enjoy her pancakes at all. The restaurant does not take reservations : we came at 10h20 and there was already a line. Waited 40 minutes to get inside (we were a table for two). Service was ok, they just come take your order, give your food, and don’t check up on you until you are ready to pay. I understand that it’s a brunch in the old port (expensive rent, certain standard), but there are other places in Montreal that you can brunch that are more fairly price in my opinion as a local. Came on a Sunday morning and there were a lot of tourists : I guess it’s a tourist Instagram trap.

This restaurant doesn't take reservations. We were there at 9:50am and there was already a long line in front of the restaurant. Luckily we managed to get one of the last few tables shortly after 10am. We ordered 2 lattes but the latte art wasn't very good. The endless summer breakfast was not bad but not special. The mushroom toast was tasty. The ricotta pancakes were the best. The kitchen was efficient and managed to deliver food for the first seating without any delay. Service was good.

I highly recommend this brunch place! The crispy smashed fingerling potatoes were phenomenal. They were crispy, salty, and seasoned. The garlic aioli was the perfect addition. The chicken sandwich was great as well. The coleslaw, brioche, crispy chicken and apple flavoring was unique and tasty. I tried a bite of the ricotta pancakes — the syrup, cream, and clumps of granola were delicious. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. Great location close to Old Montreal + Notre Dame.

One of the best brunch places I’ve ever been. The pancakes were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The very friendly staff told me of their special of the day and I decided to take the advice, it did not disappoint. Buttermilk fried chicken was surprisingly good and very crispy not soggy; the brioche bun complimented it very well. Make sure to try their Maple flavoured Latte! The portions are good sized and can be shared for 2. Staff accommodating of requests and good service overall.

We were most impressed by the ricotta pancakes. The sauce was so good with the added citrus taste on one side and the browning on the pancakes were on point.The savoury dish we ordered with the egg and avocado was good but I could have made that at home. The presentation on both dishes are very nice though.Everything else was great! I would go back to try the pastries they had in the front.Also be sure to arrive early especially on the weekend as the line gets super long.

Very nice vibe and delicious pancakes! This place is always busy, so expect to wait in line for at least 30 mins to get a seat. We ordered their market salad, which was a creative mix of fresh vegetables and some fruits, very tasty. Also, the endless summer breakfast, which was a half avocado toast was very good! For the dessert we ordered the ricotta pancake and it was amazing, soft, fluffy and moist, I really liked the syrup at the bottom as it made the pancakes very tasty, buttery and syrupy but not too sweet which was perfect!! Also, for drinks we got lattes with maple syrup, which was tasty! Overall highly recommended!

One of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Those ricotta pancakes I’ll think about for the rest of my life. Service honestly was a little slow. Took over an hour for our food to come but after the first bite I forgot how long we had waited.
